Thank you. The mast is not standing on the main hull. It sits of a strut about a foot off the hull. So the geometry of stays and loads on the mast is not any different than on a wide multihull. Look up the video where I talk about sail rig on my channel.

The main hull has flattish bottom with round chines. majority of lateral resistance necessary to sail upwind comes from the boards(rudders). To do so I need to match center of lateral resistance (summary of centers of boards) to center of effort (center of sail area). So I need to readjust rudders at every shunt. If I don’t do so, the boat will round up and stall.

Прекрасный лавировочный угол и очень приличные скорости апвинд для такой малышки при таком ветре.! Для такого безветрия на мой вкус я бы одел на штаги пару стакселей на закрутках, было бы повеселее😁ЦП меньше бы бегал по длине лодки и возможно не пришлось бы поднимать носовой руль, а только подстраивать. Лавировочный угол стал бы еще лучше, не говоря о Vmg . Но это субьективное мнение не претендующее на истину. Вам на месте виднее тк место сидения определяет точку зрения😊
Простите если мой комментарий приобрел оттенок совета, такой задачи не стояло, наверное это атавизм еще от Страны Советов где мы все коллективно занимались техническим творчеством в детских клубах... Владимир. Подскажите плиз каким девайсом снят трек и возможно ли градуировать там в морских милях?
@@alexalexeev7077 снято все на GoPro 10. В редакторской программе по умолчанию нет возможности изменять единицы измерения скорости. Вроде, можно прикупить другие редакторы, в которых такая возможность есть, но сейчас не до этого…

The boat is pacific proa. My modern take on it. So yes, proas don’t tack, they shunt. They are “push me pull you” boats. :)
