3 times conclave was surrounded, 3 times conclave survived battered and broken. Conclave broke before the Guard did

What I love about this game: New players can be wise and take good advice and be useful to the war effort, or they can be fools, not listen, and waste a valuable tank charging overwhelming defenses to no purpose. Either way, they are having a good time playing a game. There is no one right way to do it. Sometimes that wild disorganized infantry mob rushing the front is just what the doctor ordered. This game really shines, in my view, when players cooperate, listen to their seniors, and work towards the common goal of winning the war. In the end, though, a soldiers life is worth what? 10 b-mats?

Yes, I've seen people screaming at me while standing perfectly still trying to refill my gun, and then there's this kid who somehow managed to be a officer and proceeded to charge and then told us to retreat and charge and he had this gang of idiots with him who kept mass reporting anyone for not charging to their deaths.
Not my fault that the "fun" you mean is listening to some obese man child behind a monitor telling me what to do. I know what I'm doing and I don't care about their "orders"

I can imagine this sentence was once said during the medieval era.
Very interesting to see what the front looked like at this time. While all this was going down, I was mass strip mining every Salvage farm I came across to keep those refineries churning out Bmats and fuel. Glad to see the impact of that from the other side. Sorta felt like I was wasting my time half way through.

i woke up early, i was thinking of logi run to Old Jack Tar, my shirts and bmats are ready after a few hours of resource collecting and crafting,when im near to the location, i was stopped my some allies to warm me that ambush ahead...wait for a bit, i realized there is another route. i change route and checked there, biggest mistake, got ambushed while near the border, got killed, rss wasted time wasted, after i died i checked the map..a warning is setup that ambush ahead, just after i died....and the old route i was supposed to take was cleared of enemy......i closed the game for a breather and go to work.....facepalmed....after work ill be back to logi run

For this i always check my map after 10 second.
If you dont have any radio on ur backpack, dont forget stop by nearest base... and open the base till the "map intelligence" updated..

When he said “this war wardens were putting up a fight” I knew he clearly didn’t know how the player base was feeling at that moment lol. Like most of our vets still weren’t back lol. This war (war 80) most of em are back so if we lose or win it’ll actually be against the proper warden army.

I was a combat engineer up at The Pit when we retook the city. Got to say that has been some of the most fun I had keeping our bunker base and tanks alive and then clearing out the mines that covered the city as the tanks finally pushed through into the city.
the thing is everyone contributes in a way and it makes you feel important and that's what keeps you playing
This was the point where we could’ve lost the war the wardens unlocked tanks first. Either the wardens keep pushing with their tanks or we hold them back with our late unlocked tanks

How bad is it for Wardens last war? felt terrible to me.
@@dfgfgh244 last war we still had basically no vets on, and after we pushed by unlocking tanks first of course the collies spammed balistas which has no counter when no wardens are on and we lost the war in basically a few hours
I've been a sub for years, super glad to see you pick up this game out of nowhere! It's been my favorite since I started playing in the pre-alpha in 2016. Really happy to see you enjoying it so much, and it's obvious that you're improving so much over these few weeks. You were a critical soldier like the whole time at this front! Good shit man.
Can I just say the way you show the war, cutting from front to from and explaining what is happening is incredable entertaining. I don't even play the game but I still watch these videos

Infantry support tanks are so fun to be around because you get to know the guys (or already do) who drive the tank, unlike some other people who act special or are in their “Special Regiment of thy Tank”.
THIS. I love running logi. Last night I ran the entire map about 3 times running SS, plasma and grenades at the front and kept a front moving all by myself. It was so satisfying. I love this game.

unpopular opinion he should try Wardens for 1 war just one. if he likes different ways to play wardens have a different mentality when fighting. Reminds me of Death korp of Krieg
I have only played wardens but I agree wardens are pretty fatalistic

@@ChemySh Dispite the losing streak warden morale is pretty high. When we lost BT's colonials steam rolled us but with the changes to armor might equlize it again.
@@ChemySh War 77 was very crushing morale wise but any effects from that have definitely worn off from now, and been reinvigorated by the update.
No one likes to play Wardens because wardens always lose. People go to Wardens who have no idea wtf they are doing.

I feel this... I spent 12 hours straight doing the same job as XPGamer except as a Warden and in Linn of Mercy, and it was painful watching us lose despite the massive amounts of effort and logi we were all putting in. That our guys would get super excited when we captured a collie tank to use just shows how bad the state of the tank game was. :(
It's fascinating to experience some of the emergent properties of warfare. How there's an oscillation, a give and take to the frontlines. One side pushes hard, and the other retreats. But then reinforcements or logistics arrive, and they counter-attack. It a tangible demonstration of how digging in, and reinforcing choke points can make it seemingly impossible for the enemy to advance without overwhelming force. It's drives home how much ammunition and production are necessary to support a war effort.
It allows you to experience the many of the real-world challenges of warfare. Of course, real world war has a the psychological impact of being in real danger, but you can still see the effects of soldier morale, if at a smaller scale.
I was being front line supply and logi last night. Delivered some badly needed shirts to a partially surrounded town last night. Got my first commendations from then. And at the end of the night I left my truck up there for them and got out then made a mad dash at the enemy.
Of course I died but I respawned at the home region so I would not waste any of those shirts.
I love this game.

War 79 was my first in Foxhole, I bought the game about 1 day into the war and absolutely loved playing the game, played it for 15hrs in one sitting and cannot stop myself playing it!

the new Scorpion infantry support tank is perfect for frontline logistics with its inventory space and troop carrying capactity and with 2 MGs on it its no slouch at defending itself. Im thinking of using it for partisan ops since it has its own radio too.

It was beautiful to watch this battle start to go down. While in T-3C we were going massively crazy over gathering Rmats to get the tanks up and running. Ofc we already had the MPF's going by the time you took Pits... a Jeep seems to be a great short range logi vehicle as well as a great mobile Watch tower. Great work!!

We (The Wardens) also first took the Pits with SC assistance. The SC was made by myself and a bunch of other people in 82DK, the clan which I am a part of and we had a blast using 2500 shells in Deadlands throught the war. :D

2:02 Whisky's one of my favorite of the guys that were running tanks in War 79.
So you convinced me to buy the game. I've played 4 hours today (And also wrote 22 page paper so its not all games I swear!) and I'm in love. Like its so much fun running supplies and playing medic and communicating on a large scale. Everyone is so friendly and they give you pointers and rally around even when things are getting hard. I'd love to play in a clan and get like a more dedicated group of people but I've had so much fun just meeting new people.
i was doing solo supply runs until my truck got taken out and I had to walk back from a run. I got taken out by a dude on a motorcycle but spawned in again. Some other guy rolled up in a motorcycle and said "Wanna come to the front lines with me? It's a suicide mission."
I'd been doing logi for a bit and had only had to kill 1 person so far so I hopped in. Made a friend and went to The Pits to fight. Ended up there for 2 hours just picking up my boys and pushing the enemy back across the bridge.
Can you start uploading VODs shack? Even if their weeks old in terms of you playing them, I would still watch them. Also Glory to the Captain of the Liberation! Also you mentioned MOWAS. Could you maybe play and record some, maybe play some multiplayer with wasted or Tex.

Foxhole is releasing a summer update on September 22nd, the game you see now is about to change drastically. Today on September 10th Devbranch is releasing and we'll get to play with all the new toys they're adding.

This game is really good. It's just so awesome that the war is continuous, and everything is runned by players. If you run out of supplies, well you need players for that.
Everything you do in this game matters. Really makes you feel like you're part of a war effort.
Also, always encourage comradery. It's all we have in these dark times.
It's a shame that streaming this causes problems and you can't do it as often but these videos are top tier captain. Keep up the good work!
That infantry at the end is always useful. Sure, it’s useful to repair everything, but it’s better to not have to repair them at all.
i watched a couple videos yesterday on this game. Went to sleep, dreamt only about this game. I woke up and purchased it immediately lol.... i feel like imma have a blast. theres something about this game....

My best fight so far in this game was the last stand at lockhead, doing everything from ammo runs for the MGs to doing supply runs for gas mask, but shoootme i hear you say the colys don't have gas masks by the time lockhead was cut off, to that I say, yeah, but the wardens did, so we traded bullets for masks, and like the masks the bullets had been used by the time of the trade, by the time i had to log all the MG gunners and most the troops had masks.
Reminds me of Band of Brothers with Jimmy Kimmel arriving with ammo. Badass
I remember seeing this game in greenlight and thought what an interesting idea it was but probably no one would play it. Pleasantly surprised it has such a large community. Really want to start playing now although I fear unabated alts/spies may be the death of this game.
worst thing about alts is that devs likely wont do much to stop them, as they like the practically free money.
luckily they did disable the ability to family share/play Foxhole, so that's kept more of the mild alts away.
I don’t think they will kill the game cuz there aren’t that many but I’d do think they will slow down the games expansion

man that fight in the deadlands was crazy we had a defensive line with 3 tanks and 11 goblin tanks rolled up and just rolled over us

FYI max 3 people should build object, 4th will just swing hammer and bmats will be wasted. I believe its same with repairs

only way you can really modify this game is with skin models and sounds, which is why there are so few (currently there are like 8 mods total)
best ones imo are the classic Skaj Sound Mod and Lercas' reskin mod

So quick question, can you build a bunker machingun nest on that hill you guys were chilling with tanks on? What's stopping the enemy from pushing your position?
The fact that there was a ton of infantry and to even begin to push, they would have to eliminate the tanks and the infantry. Then get up the hill in greater numbers then the reinforcements from the Connie's came back.

I got my campaign up to week 105 and I'm FINALLY starting to make head room against the Empire and Black Sun. The 2.9 update is no joke at all and takes some real effort to not die.
