Richie showed up at our local downhill race series at Windrock with 3 practice runs and finished 5th just a few seconds off Gwin. Dude is beyond impressive.

As a Yeti owner, I'm biased, but Richie oozes a mix of pure strength and fluidity... it's nice to see.
I totally don't care about yeti or any brands but yeah rude goes like a machine. Has this physicality to his posture and riding imho.

It's strange to see Yoann teaching one of the fastest enduro riders the world has ever seen. But Yoann more than obviously has a lot of knowledge and knows very well what's going on, given that they train together and listen to him. An also I highly admire his great energy, humbleness and he is always in good spirit and smiling. What's even better is that Richie doesn't have a high ego and is always ready to improve and learn new things, regardless of being at the top of his field. This video shows how wonderful our sport is. It connects people on many levels and shows how you can enjoy and spend time with good people in nature. All honor and thanks for that video.
1:35 The GoPro effect is greatly displayed when Yoann climbed it first then as soon as he pointed in the dh direction that particular section looked tamer! Less steep! Then you see the steeper section after that then you'd realize how steep af it is irl. 5:08 RR climbing up.. 😆

Man Richie is just so aggressive its amazing to watch. I feel like his poor suspension is never at a point where it gets a break lol. It could be how it looks, but he's just always in the suspension, staying low, shoving the bike into the ground on everything where a lot of people would stay up higher and lighter on the bike. It's really crazy to watch how he manipulates the bike even on sections that you'd think wouldn't need it.
I like the clips where you can hear where Richie applies his brakes
It's amazing how strong Richie is, pumping and looking for speed constantly.

4:30: So the idea is, to force push your bike before the corner so you'll have all your suspension in the corner instead of having the compressoion in the corner and have to ride it without any reserve travel?

Nate is not only a big sender he can go fast ! He Kinda followed Richie sometimes haha
Nate is getting faster and faster which is super cool to see!! He is also a very good coach, rad personality and a goat on a bike :)
What app are you using on your phone to zoom the video? Looks like a scroll wheel

I was wondering also, then played with my iPhone camera and found once you start video, you can use the little white button to zoom. Hold it down, slide up to zoom in and slide down to zoom out. OR you can start video, click the .5 1 2 zoom setting and it brings up this scroll wheel.
I’m 14 and lives in Quebec, and my dream it’s to one day be a professional mtb rider. I’m riding every day after school around 2h for now 2 years, and doing the same stuff that you did in this vidéo. I’m racing in the summer in enduro and next year in downhill, and I was wondering if you have some advice for reaching my goal. Thank you your video was super nice 👍🏼
Best advice I can give a 14 year old who wants to become pro racer is to keep it fun. Find a club or a solid group of friends to ride and train with, and have a blast!! Develop the passion for the sport, and be interested by anything cycling has to offer :). Send it my little man !!!!
That is outstanding advice from a world class coach, take it onboard buddy!
No technical advice matters if you stop riding because it becomes a chore.
Keep it fun and keep an open mind, focus on the process not the outcome
The speed the brain processes all the information whilst riding at such speed is amazing, surely video gaming must help with ths as well?
What is the secret to breaking the back tire loose cornering? Ritchie moves his bike like he is on snow skis almost.
