However, if it was done using an actual key fob, then you really could not have done anything to have prevented it. I am glad though that things appear to be going back to normal and you are considering getting a new vehicle. In my opinion, of course, I would do the same. With regards to the kill switch, I actually am not familiar with the technology. I presume it works similar to what law enforcement use on bait cars (cars they use to catch car thieves). However, I think purchasing a club (steering wheel lock) would work. It's cheap, works as a deterrent and really is difficult to detach without the key once attached. Keep safe and God Bless.

owned a 2021 cx5 before trading it in for a chevy traverse. very reliable. fuel efficient. and fun to drive. but if you really want a spacier vehicle, go for cx9 or cx90. :)

Japanese cars are more reliable, durable and cheaper to maintain.. German cars are overpriced and people buy it just to look "cool" and "rich". Sure, get a german car if you dont mind paying lots of $$$ for maintenance. The only good thing about German cars are i guess, if you are really a car guy and care more about 0-60 in 2 seconds, then go ahead. There's a reason why you rarely see older German cars on the road, while you still see many older Japanese cars
