@@ron2237 she explained why she's allowed to have such long nails, she was not doing any surgeries on that day. Nurses constantly have hands on experience with the patients, have to insert ivs and help patients up with their hygiene, so it's quite obvious why nurses can't have long nails.
Back when I was a medical resident (when dinosaurs roamed the earth🤣) our on-call began with signout at 5pm and ended at 7am but there was another 10 hours before heading home. It was grueling but I must have been a masochist because I loved it. Hope that you’re loving it too.
Residents today think they have it rough LOL. I look back at those brutal years and know they were some of the greatest of times, sleep deprived, needing a shower and sometimes hungry.
Hey Alicia loved to see ur vlog. Just saw ur vid in my recommendations. I see u havent made any video recently. Plz make a video on how many duty hrs do u have in ur residency in all the residency yrs and ur responsibilities in all 3 yrs as an IM resident. And how is it after completing residency in terms of duty hrs as an attending. Im also img n plan to apply for match in nxt cycle. Love from pakistan....
hey nice vid, iuno if anyone else feels this way, but it doesn't seem like youre looking into the camera lens which kind creates a disconnection, I feel like were having a conversation but youre looking to the left of me the whole time! not trying to troll at all, just thought to share that! All the best as you complete residency !
Some of you are weird lmao, why would you even need her to look into the camera?? It’s not a must you comment something tbh, better quiet than say irrelevant things
hi, ma'am, during my STEP 1 exam, I've mailed physically to ECFMG address after downloading form 186 took signature from the Dean, and have passed my STEP 1, for STEP 2CK exam, do I need to do the same download then take Dean signature and mail physically to the ECFMG address again?
How do you wear a Glove in ER with such BiG Nails. Being a ER Resident, it's critical we maintain Hygiene. Please cut ur Nails before the next post. Overall a great Vlog, all the very Best.
The problem is when I visit a doctor my blood pressure suddenly raised 180/101 but it's normal at home reading... 118/78 sometime 100/69 But when I see this beautiful doctor I dont wanna get cured...I wanna get sick and I can meet her everyday lol 🤣
your are allowed to have your nails as long as you want, as long as you are not performing surgery which I dont have to do as the senior resident on call, so as an intern its best to keep your nails short
@@alyciasainimd5101 What type of surgery are expexted of an intern in Family Medicine? Asking this because i am interested in this speciality. Please answer Mam
The fact that people are so pressed about her nails 🥴🥴🥴 Like we have to pretend physicians aren’t people
Well seeing as nurses literally can never get their nails done due to hospitals policies, makes it quite unfair.

6:55 wooow this is one of the nicer on-call rooms i've seen. usually its just a bed, desk, and a lamp (sometimes broken haha).
Do you guys have oncall rooms?

as a patient, your nails are too scary and not professional.. sorry
why criticize? just enjoy the vlog
Probably acrylics. They don't scratch.
Smell judgmental…
She's a patient too and thinks it's fine. Don't be so judgmental.
