It’s crazy to know that the Giants last 3 Super Bowl victories (1990, 2007 and 2011) were all highlighted by multiple revenge victories in the playoffs against teams that beat them in the regular season.
In 1990 they lost to the 49ers and Bills in December only to beat both of them a month later in the playoffs in consecutive weeks (NFC championship and Super Bowl).
In 2007 the Cowboys SWEPT the Giants while both the Packers and Patriots gave them losses in New York. They eliminated ALL 3 of them in the playoffs that same year!
Then in 2011 they lost to Green Bay and San Francisco in the regular season only to boot BOTH of them out of the playoffs, both on the road!! The Giants definitely have a history of ULTIMATE revenge!

When you look at how many times the Patriots came back and won Superbowls they really were on track to lose, it stands as a testament to just how damn good Coughlin, Eli, and their Giants were in a Superbowl situation as well as how well they knew how to play against Bellecheck and Brady.

Further left there was a LB sitting underneath the throw 😉 If he tries to float it over there were a corner to the left (back turned though), the LB underneath and a safety over the top. Probably a makeable throw but situationally you don’t want to force anything that could result in a pick when up by just 2. Branch could have slowed down in the soft zone, like the commentators pointed out. Very similar coverage, but trying to force it over a LB to Branch (without floating it too much] can be seen at 2:02:50
There was two LBs sitting on Welker only loosening up when one LB drifted to the previously mentioned spot. Also, two rushers where free when Brady finally let it go.
Sorry for the late reply, was just here for some punishment as a big Brady fan, and decided to have an extra look at that pass 😉

@@mazizazi8412 I don't know about that, both had similar games both games, but the difference was Brady's mistakes cost them and Manning was saved. If you look at 2007 he had at least 2 other passes that should've been INTs and had 2 fumbles (both recovered by the offense). 2011 he had an amazing 1st half and then couldn't do anything after. He definitely didn't play great in either, but Manning got a lot of Lady Luck like Brady has gotten for a lot of his career.

The Patriots had the worst defense that year but the offense was pretty good though so it’s not Tom Brady to blame.

1:49:48 is easily, the best and most clutch pass in football history. Of course, it had to be the most clutch QB in NFL history to throw it. Wow, what a game this was!!!

How can foles be considered brady's parents it's a team sport Brady put up 505 yards on the eagles D and pats D allowed 41 pts. Same thing with Eli in 2007 when brady left 2 minutes on the clock but again the Defense failed him

Clutch moment after Clutch moment for the Giants. Of all people a Linebacker Chase Blackburn gets all the way down field for the pick, Manning makes the one of the best throw in NFL History to Mario Manningham. That Hail Mary in the end was in the air forever.

If not for Eli & Peyton, TB12 could have as many as 11 Super Bowl rings. In the highest-stakes-possible games vs each, Brady was a combined 1-5. (0-2 vs Eli in Super Bowls; 1-3 vs Peyton in AFC Championship Games)

That touchdown drive by the Patriots before halftime is so underrated. That was a masterclass in tempo and time management. Tom Brady took them from their own endzone to deep into Giants territory while still having all timeouts left. They didn't need to start using the timeouts until they were inside the 25. Obviously the Patriots didn't continue that momentum into the second half, but that was such a great drive to take the lead in and of itself. Not to take anything from the Giants, but the Patriots definitely could've iced the game and won if Wes Welker and other receivers weren't dropping passes in the 4th quarter.

Between the 2 NYG vs NE superbowls, that was the most concerned I ever found myself. After that drive. Really felt like Brady might just take over, and there would be nothing we could do. Didn't happen though
