Let me know what you think of this colourful tree idea and if you have any additional Christmas tree decorating tips! 🎄❤️ My whole process is all written here: thediymommy.com/how-to-decorate-a-christmas-tree-step-by-step/
Christina your Christmas Tree looks so beautiful! You did a wonderful job putting together. I love the colors you use.Thank you for sharing with us. Have a wonderful and bless rest of your Sunday.🕊🙏🎄💖🎄💖🎄💖🎄🙏🕊
My mom taught me to make ornament clusters 20 years ago and her mom taught her at least 50 years ago! It’s a long standing tradition in our households! It looks so beautiful and classic!
Your advice was awesome! I was hating the way my tree was looking and didn't know why. I took everything off and fluffed it the way you said and its 100% better looking! Thank you!
For the past 8 years I'm using fiber optic tree. I've got mine up but not dressed yet. That's why I was watching your video to give me a better idea what to do. I love your tree. It's very eye catching and pleasing to the eye. Oh I'm going for it it's a work of art. Kev 🇬🇧
Wow! Ultra warm and cozy and just stunning. I need hot chocolate. Love the whimsical music at the end it really pulls it all together. That was wonderful. Thank you DIY mommy.
Thanks for presenting your approach to decoratring a tree. As many videos as I've watched over the years, it's still great to see how other people do it each new year and I always pick up new tips and tricks. And thank you for mentioning "Ramon at Home," because I love his channel, I've learned so much from watching his videos. Your tree is gorgeous! You were right to remove the more blueish ornaments. I would never have thought about combining red plaid ribbon with pink and gold ribbon, but it SOOOOOOOO works! I also really like that your entire tree isn't drenched in decorations so that the actual tree can no longer be seen. And I like even more that parts of your tree are green and parts are flocked/snowy-looking. Inspiration!!!!
I liked the tip to gather several ornaments before putting them on the tree! Definetely gonna try this year! I love to change the theme every couple of years. This year I am going for a green tree with lots and lots of red berries and roses.
I have 50 years worth of collecting ornaments☺️. Each year I try to add something new to make it look fresh. The clusters of balls is what I will try this year😉
So I know this video is from last yr.. but I just watched it after watching several others & I wanted to share how much I have thoroughly enjoyed how detailed your explaining has been as well as the taking time to speak and demonstrate at the same time before then going along with completing each part all over the tree!!!! I am now searching for more right now! 😊 again THANK YOU! Merry Christmas to you & yours‼️
I just bought a small few tree ornaments today I am thinking of putting my tree up alot earlier this year so this is a perfect video for me. Tree looks beautiful
I absolutely love the color scheme you used on your tree, thank you so much for taking us along, and also thank you so much for the shout-out. what do you think about a Christmas Collab this year? Have a blessed year Ramon
I love your ideas they are so helpful. The lights are always my job and I feel they never look right. I'm definitely going to try your idea this year. Thank you so much.😊
I changed out my furniture this year from white slipcovered sofa/chairs to navy blue velvet sofa with lime green chairs. I'm looking forward to changing up my tree, too, and this gave me some great ideas. Thank you!
I have had the same decorations for the last 20 years. I add some new ornaments every year, but it stays the same otherwise. Maybe I will add ribbon this year.
Love the tree DIY mommy. Very lush and beautiful. I've cats, all my life. I think there enough cat videos on the Internet proving my point cats and Xmas trees are not a good combination. When the kids were born I made a wooden one, they helped baking the cookies and decorate when older. It didn't matter if the cats try to climb the tree, it was sturdy enough. I still find the little unbreakable decoration on the floor every morning, the cats love to play with it. We have a catproof Xmas every year ;>p
I had a white Christmas tree one year and a new gray kitten. I have a great picture of her sticking her head out of the center of the tree! When I had my Corgi she did a number on my stuffed fabric “ornaments”! I thought with a dog I would be safe, lol! She must have thought I had hung dog toys on the tree!
I love the cluster ornaments, I have done that for years...my mom always decorated with ornament clusters and stored them together year after year! the definitely look best on top of the branches
Love the colors you chose for your tree. It looks beautiful. I have never done a color themed tree. All of my ornaments are personal from my children as the grew up or made when they are younger. ❤️
This is why I do more than 1 tree. I love having one that my kids can decorate with all of their ornaments, one that is fancy and one that is dedicated to the family members no longer with us.
I watched one of your videos two years ago (painting tile under the wood stove) and I’m so delighted to have found you once again!! I enjoy your style.
I love your tips on adding ribbon and creating the ornament clusters. I want to find some great picks they really add beautiful touch and I hope I can find those great white jingle bells at our DollarTree. Thank you for the great ideas!
I have 45 yrs of ornaments that I try to get on my tree every year. After I fluff my tree out, there isn't space for my ornaments to hang nicely. I love a tree that is dripping in ornaments. I've tried to cluster them together like you did your balls. I've tried to wired them directly to the branches, inside the tree, hanging from double & triple hooks to an opened area. I end up leaving a lot of my ornaments in the storage boxes. Maybe I need a 2nd tree somewhere. Your tree is very pretty, but isn't like a family tree full of traditions and memories. I hope we get to see you do the tree in your home! HUGS~Donna
Christina, your tree turned out so beautiful. When placing ribbon on my tree I always go around it. This year I will take your tips into consideration and give that a try. I did try the clustering of the ornaments last year and love how it turned out. Have a wonderful day! Xo 🇨🇦🎄⛄️
I have watched so many videos and your site is my favorite, seems most reliable. I am going to try this for the first time. I have gold, red, and white so wish me luck! I will try and purchase a few things
I have been loving red & turq combo for yrs. it shoulds strange at first , but it works, but u are right , the red is powerful , & can take over the turq. color
Love your shirt! Also, love that you are always budget conscious without feeling the need to do things cheaply. Beautiful tree and great instruction as always!
Great timing!!!! For the first time in almost 12 years since my Mom died, shortly before Christmas, I am as excited to decorate as I used to be. I start getting the itch in July and come November 1 (today) I start in!! It used to just take a day but over the years and different homes I’ve added more and more. At one point having 13 trees! However, now I live in an apartment and though I had gotten rid of A LOT of stuff, this year I went crazy buying new stuff!! Needless to say, my apartment is packed with stuff at the moment and I have no idea how I’m going to fit everything in but I sure am going to try! Most of my trees are “alpine” and “twig” trees or “slim” trees so not full size but I’m still going to try to fit as many as I can in my little 1 bedroom apartment. I’ve always decorated the tree with lights the same way, around. This year, because I love the look and glow of tons of lights, I’m trying your style of putting them on vertically. Thanks for the great ideas!!
Wow. I’m really loving those colors. I usually go for subtle colors but I’m loving the teal, red and a pop of pink. I may do this same scheme for my decor this year! 🥰
Thank you for the tree decorating ideas. Yours came out really pretty! Ive always gone with the red, green and gold, but this year I'm going with gold and white. I'll check out your link for some ribbons, can't wait to decorate the tree!
Thank you, thank you, thank you...I think my tree is going to look so much better this year...thanks to you ❤️ love how the tree turned out and I really love the colour combination 😊
The tree looks beautiful! This year I'm planning to do a minimalistic scandinavian tree. I honestly don't know if I have the willpower to resist a full over the top decorating style I did last year, but I'll try!

Ornaments?
Nice touch on the pink ribbon to soften and cluster of balls, Christina! 🎀
Thank you!
YEAH!
So lovely! I would love to see how to decorate a tree beautifully with all the family ornaments and traditional things that don’t all match.
Best tip! To put the lights on vertical! I will try that this year! Thank you!
For the past 8 years I'm using fiber optic tree. I've got mine up but not dressed yet. That's why I was watching your video to give me a better idea what to do. I love your tree. It's very eye catching and pleasing to the eye. Oh I'm going for it it's a work of art. Kev 🇬🇧

That would be a challenge for me too! LOL!
Love that look! The ribbon brings it all together!
One of the better videos out there.
