Your tree is really pretty and you gave great instructions. I was going to make a comment about the overconsumption of changing the tree decor every year, but I’m glad I waited until the end to find out you mostly used stuff you already had. I prefer the nostalgia and tradition of having my tree the same each year with decorations that have been collected over generations. My tree would never be classified as “designer”! But to each their own.
VERY pretty! I like that you left enough of the green tree still showing. I think you hit the perfect balance among all the elements you put on the tree, including the dried orange slices.
I am putting up my trees today. So excited!!! The only step I do differently is adding the ribbon before the stems. With stems, designers say to have as many stems as the size of the tree. For example, if you have a 7 ft tree, then make sure to have at least 7 stems of the same kind. I usually have 5-7 different stems to create a very full luxe look. I also add lots of lights and lots of ornaments. I usually do a full tree and also a more minimal tree just to have both styles. Your tree turned out beautiful!! Thanks for the tips!
This is my favourite tree of all the how-to videos I've watched on TH-cam! I think you really nailed it, especially when you added those orange slices.
Those kinds of candles are a staple on german christmas trees. A big bonus for these is that they project a really pretty pattern onto the ceiling when you turn them on. I really like this tree. It has a very cozy, warm feel to it. I'd greatly reccomend straw stars for these kinds of trees as well. They're also from victorian times
Beautiful tree; very cozy and inviting like everything you do. Love the use of the longer picks. I've only seen the use of the short ones but longer ones are so much better. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful ideas with us. ❤
Your channel just popped up in my feed (I subscribe to Nick Lewis, Lone Fox, Caroline WInkler...) and am I ever thrilled to have found you. Great content, thoughtfully presented...YES!
I think Costco is a totally underutilized place for Christmas decor. I picked up the snowman ⛄️ pillow and the mercury glass ornaments with battery operated candles in them. They are heavy and very substantial. Just gorgeous. The raindrops with fairy lights in them are absolutely stunning as well.
I just love your videos and just your style and the way and what you show us. You are so natural and kind . Wish I was your neighbor! Lol. I watched another video on u tube where a woman put crushed glass on pine cones I think you might like that for this tree. Wishing you and your family a blessedThanksgiving.
Pretty. I've never seen anyone decorate with the lights off. For ME, it's easier to see if I like where the placement of the ribbon/ornaments should go.
Beautiful tree ! I'm afraid to say that I have been decorating mine 'samey' for a about a decade now. Peacock colours. Looks like it should be in a Moulin Rouge dancer's boudoir. 😂 I couldn't part with my christmas decorations as they are mainly glass and not that cheap, so I'll stick with them for at least another year.
One day I will get that tree! It's amazing! I can't afford a $500 plus tree lol We always do a real tree anyways! I'm going to invest in some picks this year!

It's very old from a store that doesn't exist anymore. 😞 But I'll try to find similar ones to link in the description!
Very pretty 🎉

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like my videos! 😊
It's a lovely tree. All your trees are very pretty through the years
Do you put ornaments/decor on the back?
Thank you! No, I don't out ornaments on the back quarter if my tree is in a corner like this.
I would love to add picks but I never know how many to buy... I live in a rural area and really need to plan out my shopping trips
It depends on the size of your tree, but I find I use about 6-8 picks of each kind for a 7 1/2 foot tree.
@thediymommy thank you that is extremely helpful!
Amazing job Christina your tree came out gorgeous honey. Love Victorian trees 🤗💓💕💞
Thank you so much! I love Victorian trees too! 🥰

Real trees are beautiful! Can't beat the scent. 😍
❤️❤️❤️
❤❤❤❤❤
nice, but why not get a real live Christmas tree? No "fluffing" needed.
I want a tree up for a couple of months, and real ones don't last that long.
