After 10 years of doing life together as foreigners & friends, first during our single years then being there for each other through our dating years and weddings and the births of her 3 children...yeah, I miss her so much. Nothing like a friend who "gets you". Who can laugh with you, cry with you, have fun with you, and do ministry with you. Those kind of friendships are treasures.⭐️

As parents we all have fears about our kids and the dangers. I had to really trust in God when my kids started driving. Now I don’t worry. Also I think most new moms and second time mom worry if they are going to have that motherly instinct or bonding right away. New changes can be hard. Y’all are beautiful women and mamas. I would love to see more vlogs with y’all hanging out. I just love you guys

New here! How many times have you been told, Raquel, that you look and talk like Elizabeth in When Calls the Heart. I forget the actresses name. But are y'all sisters or closely related? Actually the more I watch you I'm convinced you are her, uncanny!
I'm American, and I live in South Korea. I was shocked when my Korean sister-in-law had a baby and didn't come home with it until about a month after giving birth. This culture definitely believes in post-natal care. After giving birth in a hospital it's normal for new mothers to stay at a care center for a few weeks at least to recover. That seemed so strange to me when I first heard of it. Women in the U.S. are usually back home 2-3 days after giving birth, right? But as I talked with different friends about their post-natal experiences, I came to realize that care for new mothers is needed and should be more of a norm in the States, too. All that to say, your dream of a birthing center that offers after-birth care is a legitimately good idea! 💡

I too take far to many underwear with me when I travel. You just never know when something will happen n your so thankful when you can say to yourself “ wait a minute no problem I’ve got extras here to use LOL. I have 4 children 16, 18, 21& 23 and I've tried to train them all that same way 🤭😅 my daughter understands, but one of my boys was like, but what could happen?? I've already got one extra.
I loved this video! Please do more. I follow both of you. The fear of having your child run over on the road would be one of mine too if I had children. My sister and I were hit by a car that ran off the road into our yard. She died. So it's not an unfounded fear.
I would definitely like to see more of these videos, I love both your channels!! What I am curious about is, as a mennonite girl it seems that the only option is to get married, have kids and be a homemaker (love that word by the way 😊) with some entrepreneurial activities on the side. Nothing wrong with that in itself of course, but my question to you guys is, if you could have taken a different path, choose any occupation you wanted, what would that look like? (I am a Christian from the Netherlands and was able to follow my dream of becoming a commercial pilot. I am married to my best friend and definitely consider myself a homemaker as well, but we have no kids because we both didn’t feel like the parenting kind of people and didn’t want to ‘gamble’ just because that is what most people do. Never regretted my/our choices but watching a lot of mennonite and other Christian moms channels, I can definitely see the beauty of a family in a more traditional way!)
Well I think that’s pretty neat that you are a pilot! If I would have taken a different path it would have been something in the medical field, perhaps a pharmacist. Watch enough of our videos and see the cute chubby babies and you might be convinced you need one. Hehe Thanks for watching!
