I love my (97) R33 GTR Vspec. I bought it back in 2014 before the Skyline bubble and just finished an RB30/26 swap. Its been a love-hate project but I'm happy its almost done. The full build is on my channel.

I just shipped my gold r33 gtst today! Cost roughly 3800$ to get from okinawa to virginia were its headed expensive to say the least but these cars are awesome! and cheap compared to the GTR being overpriced atm! not to mention easy to work on lots of room to get in the engine!

They're not as common as they used to be. Back in 2000 to 2006, they were very common and I used to envy my mate for having a well looked after R33. In 2009, I finally had the chance to own one. I still have today. The only problem now is registering them as a lot of mechanics do not want to touch them anymore. I asked for a few local mechanics in Sydney and they did not wanna do any blueslip. I just gave up in the end. I figured, if it cannot belong in the streets, it will find its way in the tracks. If they are kept and looked after, they will hold and increase their value in the near future.

@@spaghetti5038 it will hold 420 just do head-gasket and studs, reliable all day every day with the right bolt ons. even unopened neos will go the extra mile.

Be careful, that R33 has a front end conversion from Series 1 to Series 2. The front bar didnt come on R33's till 1996. Also on the S2 the front headlights and grill are slightly different

That big gap should be partially filled by the r33 series 2 drive lights and indicator. So thats a series 2 bar on a series 1 car
that's a series 1 body with series 2 front bumper there's usually
fog lights there & GTR wing. nice car by the way I have a 94 model. just noticed.. it has ABS.. are you sure it's a 93 abs only came out in s2?

after watching this vid in Oct 2018 a month later i got myself an r33 gts 25t wicked car ...good vid too
Might want to fix that blow off valve... its capped off with a zip tie, should be re-routed into the intake pipe. Also, these are not bullet proof. The RB26 is much stronger. The RB25 blows head gaskets and bottom end cant hold a whole lot.
Ive been running 480hp 22psi with stock rb25det block for about 3 years now in NZ. solid engine just stay off the limiter when slapping gears lol

This car hasn't gotten the love or respect it should everyone talks bad about it even anime " Initial D" the old man talks about selling his R32 to get the new at the time R33 to be disappointed and selling the R33 quick as hell to get back into a R32 before the 34 comes out...anyways lol. This video was good and you have my sub I'm also checking out the website and I took your number down. I was in the market for the 32 cause I finally have the extra spending money but now I might just get the 33 because when the 34 comes out thats just gonna be to rich for my blood especially for a car that old rather get a new supra or something in that line

awesome looking car, I think the R33 looks way better than the R34. can't help but notice the cheap-looking headlights and some curb rash on that front left wheel, it's also missing the front bumper lights...

As far as I know this is not a body kit! Give Montu Motors a call and they can fill you in on all the details!
That is an R33 S2 front end on a R33 S1. Normally it has foglights where the big holes are. But they took them off. And it has the R33 GTR wing. GTS25Ts have a smaller wing.

it is really nice this has the RB25 T in it which is one good point about it but as much as i love skylines and alot of others do to the R33 is still the least popular of all the skylines sadly

What's the difference between R33 GTST and R33 GTS25T?
GTST has RB20 GTS25T has RB25
Finding anything for the 1993-12 R33 is so difficult because everyone lists their items from r32 94/ r33 95
This is not the Nismo variant, right? It's just a normal Nissan Skyline GTS25t Type M? It doesn't have the tall Nismo wing or the Nismo front bumper.

If your trying to engage 1st when car is moving it will crunch.. many cars do it.. especially 90s cars

@@RaitisRides I would say it's similar to this one. Rims are a little different and a tad bit worn. Any specific things buyers should look for in one?
You want to look to see if there is any oil leaking from the turbo housing. Listen for excessive valve chatter. I would recommend paying the money to have someone look over the car.

The stock RB25DET block will handle over 550hp. My own RB25DET was making 520whp for years on the stock block and the block and rods were still fine when I sold to them to help fund the upgrade to my current RB2530.
