Well it's only 7 sec, if you just Rev till 6k
It can do 8-9k
Hydro lifters wont be able to do 9k... I have my fair knowledge and experience with RB25s. You need solid lifters for 9 grand.
The r33 is not the heaviest gen of the skylines. Its some weird myth that came from somewhere. They're actually kinda light. The generations get heavier as they go up. R33 is around 1400 kg R34 I think is between 1500-1600 kg and r35 of course is a lot heavier. I'm not sure how heavy but I'd say around 1700kg

wow this channel deserves more subs, awesome camera work mate. my only advice would be try to find some music thats not that generic royalty free music. i hear it so often in other videos it gets a bit cringey after a while. soundcloud is a good place to find music for videos.

This is my favorite generation of the Skyline. Interior and exterior wise, it's a good in-between the r32 and r34
I don't like the r35
Yeah, you can see that the R34 got some influence on this on it's rear.
I love the r32 r33 and r34 i dont like r35 either tbh i can respect the engineering and work that went into them there unbelievable but just not my taste i suppose

your not running much boost? what other mods and upgrades have you got on your skyline in the video i couldnt see a fmic either seems bascially stock ? ive got alot of mods and upgrades on my 1995 r33 nissan skyline series 1.5 model gts25t it has 425rwkw high mount turbo setup and a big garrett turbo
The car is running just a bit higher than stock boost. The only other mods are a catback exhaust and rims/tyres.

power band ends at 6500 so perhaps use the band and you will get 6.3 secs which is the 0-60 time - ;)

get a haltech platinum pro or link g4 ecu big fmic garrett 3582 turbo with 6boost top mount setup and screamer pipe they have alot of potential i love my r33 gts25t rb25det
Jay ranyard Well said. I have a g4 on my 33 gtst and it's fantastic. I was tempted with 6boost top mount but ended up going with a low mount tub. Still made 434 at the wheels so not too shabby.
Rediscovering Retro yeah man i have a top mount setup big turbo fmic nowhere near a stock r33, just had a heap of mods and a dynotune done and its pulling alot of rwkw love it

2 questions. is there a awd version and how does the automatic drive?
moonabys there is no awd version unfortunately, and for the second question I don't know personally but if you don't mind auto you can get one for much cheaper than a manual. So it could be worth if you are not bothered by shifting yourself.
The 4 door version has a 4wd model and the automatics for the RB engines are horrendous!

You should check your boost level, quite low from the video
Yeah this car had a couple of small leaks when this was filmed. It has been fixed/upgraded since then. If there is enough interest, we will look at making an update video!

The car has the standard body-kit that was supplied by Nissan originally

What? Do you actually know your own car? Is it your car? R33s are not the biggest and heaviest of the skylines. It goes in order. 32 is the lightest r33s weigh about 1450 kilos which isnt too bad and R34s are heavier again. And doing a 0-100 run and you shift way early? Why? 5 gears not 6. Might wanna actually know the facts of your own car before you go through the effort of a video and posting it

I think r33 is ugly compared to r32 and r34 is fine i guess and r35 too but r32 is the best
