That collection is such a shame. All the barebones arcade ports with none of the additional content, mainly with SFA3 which should by all means have been the Double Upper/Max version. :(
m they’re advertised it as all arcade ports before it was released but I agree with you Street fighter alpha 3 for arcade is actually my least favorite port (even the gba version was better to me) because it has the least amount of characters and game modes. Also I enjoyed street fighter 2 new challengers for the snes and genesis more than the arcade version because it had more vs modes like elimination mode, match play, and the point game system.

After Tony reminded me, I kinda liked Aquaman. Plenty of faults, but did have some good characters and action. The underwater Atlantis realm was alot to look at.
I'm 99% sure Tony is completely wrong about the plot of the game. It's a DC civil war between Batman and Superman after Superman kills the Joker (who had just killed Lois Lane) and tries to take over the world.
He said x-ray he got Mortal Kombat on his mind 😂
I hope this video makes Tony a LOT of exposure. He really needs it for food

I think everybody should watch Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. Is pretty awesome.

I just now realized how the victory scene is much like the victory scenes in MK11.
Every time I see Tony trying to explain some nerdy lore to Mike or James I just think to myself, "God is that what I sound like talking to my more casual nerd friends?"
tony is very into this game while mike is trying to be nonchalant about this video games unless he is with James but then again mike does this with retro gaming passion
That shit annoys me, Tony keeps the conversation going and throws interesting facts in there while Mike just ignores him. Mike comes off very arrogant in these Mike and Tony episodes.

It's weird how Shazam and Aquaman are both directed by guys who mostly do horror, yet they manage to tell the origin stories of 2 fairly powerful DC characters (Aquaman gets clowned on by people, but in my experience, esp. from Throne of Atlantis, the animated film, he's up there, top 10 easily in the Justice League lineup) and also keep the tone fairly accessible, though origin stories are probably easiest for that, even if Shazam really leaned in on the family by blood versus family by bond thing, but I enjoyed that nonetheless. And Aquaman had a similar theme of family, interestingly enough.
The reason why the default costume design is a little lackluster in Injustice 2 is the gear and skin system in the game is designed so you'll want to unlock better designs. You literally can play as a Justice league batman or Batman Beyond Batman or a combo of both if you get the gear for it.
For the record I'm more a Namor guy than an Aquaman guy.
Thing that I don't like most about the Injustice games is that those big cinematic special moves aren't finishers/fatalities but just midmatch moves. Those are over-the-top killing blows, they should be dead not popping up and continuing to fight. Bugs me.

And I have to wonder if Injustice might've been partly inspired by Red Son, which was about 10 years prior to Injustice, at least in certain aspects, like Batman leading rebels against Superman, in Red Son being a communist despot of sorts
Doesn't hurt that TMNT had a crossover with Batman a few years ago that I finally watched last year, Shredder vs. Batman, among other fun stuff that happened, like the mutagenic ooze from TMNT affecting Arkham inmates

I mean yeah if you took a pill that made you as strong as superman and went to stab him with a knife that knife would still fold in on itself regardless of how strong you are- it's still just a fucking normal knife.
Given the recent crossover, I'm sad to see there isn't at least 1 Power Ranger on the roster. ⚡....? 😢
It's weird how the history seems mixed on Shazam being his official name, yet I'm pretty sure they called him Captain Marvel as late as the Justice League DCAU series and then he didn't come back after the one episode possibly because of ongoing issues (also because he thought the Justice League were dicks, esp. Superman)
I like how Tony says he's not a fan of most of the designs....good thing you unlock gear and make them all look completely different to your liking lololol
the TMNT here look more like the og cartoon mixed with the 1990's movie.

Me and my girlfriend went to see Shazaam and i thought i walked in a kids movie. I almost left, but it was really good, and im glad i gave it a chance.

I think the wood resistance to the ring was retconned out, I can't imagine the yellow aspect is entirely gone, because it connects to the Emotion Spectrum stuff, like with Sinestro and the Fear energy in the color yellow. It might not be as strong in that sense, but there may be a psychological element to it: again, who's writing?
I actually really enjoyed Batman v Superman. nobody can convince me otherwise. Tony says he doesn't want Superman to be playing dumb and Batman to stop being a detective, I would agree but I don't think those played out in the film.

The first few things I saw him in completely sucked. That didn't help.
Superman doesn't become stupid, he applies his morals, which is not to kill and arguably hold back his powers in regards to someone that 1) can be reasoned with and 2) is not really evil, but morally grey, unlike say, dealing with Lex Luthor, who even then he doesn't kill
Also, Superman might be slightly more intelligent than an average earthling, but intelligence varies as to what area it applies to: Superman is more in the vein of creative applications of things, in contrast to Lex Luthor and his innovation of fundamentally new ideas. And then there's Batman who's sort of a mix of engineering intelligence and innovation, with a bit of the creative angle.
There's such a thing as overselling Superman's intelligence in contrast to Batman's in regards to their situations. And the Batman in BvS, like the Superman in that same film, are not really at the same state they'd be in more common depictions, since Batman is strongly implied to be much older (which is also why he's more violent and paranoid by association), whereas Superman is still younger and naive by comparison, versus a situation where they were both around the same age (which doesn't make sense given most histories with Batman's proteges, since he'd have to be in his 50s with Nightwing's age and such)

He has a pretty big part in Justice League DArk Apokolips War and Justice League Dark, but I can't imagine he has a lot of presence in the Injustice series, though I've only skimmed over the summaries. And then there's Legends of Tomorrow!

Mike says he's probably the last person to play it. Honestly, I didn't even know Injustice 2 existed until I saw this video. So I'm definitely the last person to know about the game in general.
This game came out for ps4. About 3 years ago.
It was considered one of the best fighting games of the year when it came out. People were eating it up

I don't know why, but i can't stand to whatch a video with Tony or anyoneof the newer "cast" . I tried to figure out why, and I think they just are too dull, too silly.. can't get the cinnemasacre feeling that i want and get with James Mike.
