Glad I rewatched this video. Been debating on going to coils but as mine is also a daily and I plan to regardless to a tire to fender track fitment these trd springs make it happen. Thank you!
yup these are a great budget friendly option, especially if you don't need adjustability, I'd say it's a better option vs more expensive coilovers if you're not doing anything hardcore all the time. I took the car out to the track with these on and they performed exceptionally well. After driving on them for the past 3 months the extra stiffness doesn't bother me at all and it is still a daily.
Wheels track great, the only difference I would say is because they are bigger, + the extra weight and not a light weight like a RAYS, is that the added rotational mass would decrease acceleration just a tad bit and make it feel less livelier. But the extra traction and weight helps the handling and power into the ground overall.
@@jer.plusultra great! So do it right. Sir another question after i installed it my car very bumpy, they said i must use rubber stopper because the stock is very firm. And other one my shock is dead
Only been driving on them for 4 months, and I only put around 4K-7.5K miles on my car a year. I did go to the dealer today and they did an inspection on everything didn't hear anything about wear, but I doubt they'd look into the struts
@@jer.plusultra ahh okay okay, so I’m getting used trd springs, I was just wondering if I should worry about anything, the guy said no cracks or anything also thank you for the reply’s 💪🏽
It’s about a bit more than 168 lb/in for the front and 224 lb/in in the rear. Just an estimate I pulled from a conversion calculator. Bc in standard kg/mm it’s about 3.3-3.5K in the front and 4K in the rear
Didn’t need any spacers or modification/rolling fenders. This is almost about the max size tire/wheel size you can run without any modification and not too much excessive lowering.

subscribed to follow your 86 mods earlier this year. Keep up the vids!
Looks great! I want these for mine, I plan on getting a set of new rims and want a stiffer and lower height also

Keep up the great work man love the car so far. 🔥
good choice, trd lower spring just gives you a better drive.
Do these make the ride much stiffer? My 2018 is my daily so don’t want to sacrifice much ride comfort
You’d think these would be good on a bone
Stock 2013 frs?
Do you have the difference in height between the normal springs and the TRD springs?
I have the same wheels as you so this video was definitely a big help. Also how do the wheel hold up on the track?? Being reps and all that.

Hey man i might be getting these springs soon, a few friends say that these put wear on the struts i just wanted to know if you have any info on that

Haven't had any issues with my struts so far.

Hey bro, you got the info as to how much lower it goes with the TRD lowering springs?
about 1 - 1.5 inches
Hi Jer, do you know what are the spring rates of them? (in pound/inch) I wonder if they fit 2017+ stock brz
