I have a very small local stationery store the owner bought one to see if he may want to retail them as he already carried some F.W.P ink I happened to be in the store when he opened the brush pen. We were both in complete awe over how incredibly cheap they felt in the hand. Especially myself because every known YT in the journal community was working hard pushing these F.P like they dropped to Earth as if mana from heaven! The price point for these cheap pens is a serious joke. A $10 preppy blows this pen out of the water. I appreciate the diplomatic yet honest review of this pen. So far, you're the only person I've watched doing so. Plus, your channel is a breath of much needed fresh air in the yt journal community. ✨️
Hi Erica C. Thank you for watching and for your kind and encouraging feedback. I also appreciate hearing your story with your local stationery store about these pens. Glad to know I'm not the only one who sees this pen in this light. Take care and have a lovely day!
Gleeful new Subscriber! Thank you for presenting a clarifying perspective. I agree, Ferris Wheel Press has a fabulous website; adding that their packaging was stellar. I will visit and purchase items from them again. However, I believe the pen I purchased was just not the right fit or smoothness for me. Happily, I donated it along with the ink to my local charity shop for someone else to enjoy.
Hi Jul'Mar. Thanks for stopping by and glad to have you join me on my stationery journey. Happy to hear your pen is finding its way into a new home. Warm wishes and have a great day.
I have limited edition echos of Eaton brush pen and the body is brass not plastic and it is a nice looking pen and writes well but at the price I wish the grip and nib were detachable. The fact that they don’t list that when buying is a bit disappointing. I’m not able to deep clean the nib section. Especially if using shimmer inks.
you should change the title to "Large-handed Canadian Hates Art." Though I agreed with your assessment when I first got mine, I've grown to love it. It felt weird in my hand too and that bummed me out, but now it's something I frequently use.
LOL! I love this. I do enjoy art although I wish I was a better artist myself. Glad the pen is working out for you. And thank you for complimenting my large hands haha. Take care and have a great day!
I just got one of these in a steel F nib. Too narrow of a writer for me. I found the etched ornate section to look nice but was definitely rough to hold. FWP has done a good job at marketing their pens but in the end it is just a custom Fuliwen 014 Chinese pen that is overpriced. I ended up taking a nail filing pad to the grip section and the nut to smooth it down. As far as your section coming loose, just put some thread locker on it (section to body). It really should not be doing this but it really depends on the machining tolerance of the pieces. I go for any of my TWSBI pens over this one.
1. This design would make for a great desk pen, just enlarge it till it's a couple inches longer. 2. To my eye the steel-colored nib clashes with the brass section. It should only come with a brass-colored nib. 3. Pricewise, SOMEBODY has to pay for all that marketing and presentation.
I have so many opinions about this pen but I don’t like to be really negative on a public forum. I can send you a photo of writing with the M nib if you are interested.
Hi @ramonafirehorse. Thanks for watching and commenting. It's obviously a divisive pen and it seems the general consensus is that it didn't quite hit the mark. I would love to see the medium nib writing example. You can email me at stationeryat4@gmail.com. Thank you for your kind offer and have a wonderful day!

Hi Alex, very good points all of which I agree with! Thanks for stopping by and sharing. Warm wishes and have a wonderful day

Thanks for sharing and the tips! Have a lovely day.
Twsbi is garbage. All of them fall apart on me. I had the cop band tear off and my diamond 580alr seize permanently. Jinhao makes much better pens.

Hi Ichiro, all good points. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.
Did you change the name of your show?
Hi R, still the same name. Why do you ask? Cheers
I can answer that! No. No, they are not. I am sure I will be giving mine away soon.
They don’t recommend posting as it does leave marks

Thanks. I should have added the words "While they don't recommend it, it technically can be posted...". Good catch. Appreciate the feedback
Lol. Fair enough!
Ive only heard disappointing things about the brush
Hi Troy, thanks for stopping by. It seems a lot of people share the same sentiment. Have a wonderful day.
Totally agree, it´s an overpriced pen.
Hi Victor, thanks for stopping by. Appreciate the validation of my feelings towards these pens. Take care and have a great day!
