    I used the one step today and it works so well, with the yellow revitalise pad it takes down swirls and webbing within one pass and it’s not too harsh to burn the clear, I used the dpx with max settings on a wet-sanded part and it gives good heat and results, but it takes some more time to get through major swirls but it works very well for the price, I’m well impressed

    • @stevenbrooks937
      @stevenbrooks937 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As you can see, the car is being sold, and is going through the process of a pre sale detail. This involved machine polishing on this occasion, which no matter what, a professional will always decontaminate a vehicle weather it ‘appears’ to be clean or not to minimise risk of picking up contamination that we cannot see within the clear coat and moving it around the paintwork in the machine polishing process which could cause damage. Hope this helps

      Using a brush straight to paintwork like that would cause damage for sure. The safest way is to spray, leave for a couple of seconds and then with a clean microfibre cloth, spray some obliterate into the cloth to help remove the melted tar. Don’t use a brush to agitate!

      The products used here are for those who have a expensive motor and want it looking brand new, or they have OCD for cleaning a car. I wouldn't use this amount of products on a run around with an old plate 7 year plus or has worn paint finish. The bucket of suds and a wax finish be good enough for those, but wouldn't use these products look for cheaper stuff. Remember these are car detailers who pride themselves on giving clients a very good valet for price, not your local Turkish Romanian, hand wash to remove most grime. For the DIYer the costs for equipment to do this detailing would be quite expensive (Jet wash, snow lance, multiple detail brushes, multiple fibre clothes, drying towels, polish machine, polish pads, snub gun, wash brushes, wash mit, buckets with grit guards, wheel Woolies etc)

Lastly it would have been more beneficial if the detailer used an angled tip lance to rinse wheel arches and under sils.
