    I started on AutoFinesse. Few years back when I just started with detailing, their lineup was easy to understand for me. Easy to use, hard to screw up. So yeah, AF is a consumer level brand as you Pan mentioned in the comments, but that is ok with me. To this day I continue to use and repeatedly buy some of their products - mainly Spritz interior detailer and Verso APC - they are gentle and smell veeeery nice, an important factor for me when working inside the car.
    Cheers

    Great video Pan.
    I didn’t find aqua coat in this video.
    It’s similar to hydro2 lite from car pro.
    A wet surface silica spray. It’s great and smells really good too.
    Didn’t you receive it or you don’t prefer aqua coat?

    Another great video Pan, off the back of this I went to my local store and picked up a couple of products. Amazingly when i looked into Auto Finesse a bit more I found out their head office and factory are only 10 minutes away from me and I actually pass it every day on my way to work! it also turns out I am only 10 minutes away from their academy and flagship store and have passed it hundreds of times and never knew either was there. I know what my new favourite brand is!

    • @PanTheOrganizer

      No, these are more general public products. If you're in a business, you need pro grade products which can also be more cost effective as you can dilute many of them.

    Great video, Pan. I'd have loved to hear your thoughts on Vision. I bought it to mask like scratches in the glass but it didnt work. I'm not sure if you can get it in Canada, but Autoglym do a glass polish that cleans really well and stops the windows from steaming up which is ideal in cold conditions.

  • @RooRichy

    Great as always!
    Would you be able to elaborate on which products can be used with each other? For example, I have triple and tough coat, can I layer these and would it be triple first, tough coat and then a soft carnauba wax on top? (I have Victoria wax concourse).
    Thanks, rich

    • @RooRichy
      @RooRichy 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm thinking triple would be first as it is also a glaze. So would fill in any light imperfections. I'm just not sure about it going under a sealant as Triple has a wax in it too, therefore the sealant could come off when the wax under it come off.

    Like this review. Do you have a review on their hard waxes? I liked how Autofinesse highlights the % of T1 Carnauba wax in their hard waxes. Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the higher percentage correlates to the length of protection?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on TH-cam as we surpassed 920,000 subscribers and we have over 120 million views! I have been detailing for 26 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
      You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
      No unfortunately, I don't have any review on their hard waxes.
      A higher % of carnauba doesn't necessarily equate to more durability. It usually leads to more gloss. Don't forget, carnauba wax is an organic product, sources naturally from carnauba plants. Durability of carnauba waxes isn't great. They typically only last 1-3 months and they have a low flash point, meaning on a hot panel on a warm sunny day, that is enough to start breaking down the protection.
      For longer lasting protection, ceramic coatings are the way to go. But carnauba waxes are still appreciated by those who like that warm gloss, and it's soothing to hand apply a quality paste wax on a paintwork.

    HELP! Whenever i wash my car outside, i get tree leaves and seeds from the trees to fall on my car right after the washing and after drying, so whenever i start to apply wax i fear those pesky leaves and seeds will damage my paint when i apply the wax with an applicator pad. Any ideas what i could do to fix that? And sadly i dont have any other place to park and wash my car.. PS. Not much you can do if you can't park in a garage or in a place with no trees above your car. You should cut the branches above the area where you wash your vehicle if that's possible.

    Nice video, as always. I can say that the Auto Finesse Avalache is at the same level if not a bit higher than the Autobrite MAGIFOAM. Hard time picking one when it's time to wash my car to be honest.
    The Avalache is the only product I own from them, might buy new ones just to see the difference.If the rest of their products behave like the AVALANCHE they might become my second favourite brand. For now my all time favourite brand is Meguiar's since every product I bought was almost flawless, results wise. The only drawback might be the price compared to the price in U.S but it's worth it.

      I typically use 2 oz of snow foam with 16 oz of water for 1 wash (1:8 dilution ratio) regardless of which snow foam I use. Always test to see which dilutions work best for your equipment and conditions.

      I used two ounces of soap in 20 oz of water. Don’t forget I have a very high end Kranzle pressure washer pumping out 2.1 gpm of water and the best foam cannon (MTM PF22). Your setup is very important, not just the soap.

    Quick question, how often should I wax? And do i put the paint sealant on before a quick detailer or quick wax..if i was waxing my car for the first time can i put paint sealant on before? Just a little confused, waxing and applying paint sealant is every few months so i dont need to do both? but quick detailer is during regular washes?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ouffff you asked so many questions it was confusing.
      You apply a paint sealant first. Those are usually good for 5-6 months. You apply a wax on top. You wax every two or three months on average. During maintenance washes, use a quick detail spray as a drying aid while drying your car, to enhance gloss.
      Here’s my tutorial on how to wax a car: th-cam.com/video/KZjiPcsPBrA/w-d-xo.html
      And here is a video I made about my favourite sealant/wax combo: th-cam.com/video/ZtILoTKSXq8/w-d-xo.html

    I have a issue Pan. My car was waxed a couple days ago. It rained yesterday in North Bend Oregon US and the wax on the lower portion of the car is gone, basically very slow to sheet off. I even clayed it. Do I need to use iron remover?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just reapply. Waxes are as simple as it gets. It's not like it was a ceramic coating that needs to fully cure. What wax did you use?
      Of course, waxes aren't as durable and chemically resistant compared to coatings. And they don't resist to extreme weather (high heat or extreme cold) that well neither.

      @@PanTheOrganizer First I washed and clayed the car, then turtle wax ice seal and shine. Didn't last even a week for some reason. Then the next week. I washed and clayed again, then used mothers speed spray wax as drying aid, then griot's garage 3 in 1 liquid wax, then turtle wax ice seal and shine. Couple days later same thing. It sheets off very slow on the lower portion of the car.
