I love you, I spent like 5 hours yesterday constantly exporting like 18 separate collections with different names and kept messing up a uv or a scaling or something and having to do it over and over and over wanting to pull my hair out. This has fixed all my problems like magic, you are the best. Ps it still works flawlessly on blender 4.0
Lost about 2 hours with previous scripts and add-ons....... your is perfect, worked immediately and no issues to install. I thank you so much for the help !
Wow, Thank you so much! It even keeps pivots intact! Absolutely fantastic. Godsend for iterating on modular pieces regularly using Blender. I used Jayanams "Batex" before, but it is not updated/won't run anymore on new Blender versions. This one is also slimmer, well structured with its nice menu, and works even better cause it keeps additional UV Sets and multiple applied materials intact! Super thankful for this.

As a long time user of IO Guru exporter, I must say it is the best so far, well thought and made exporting addon I saw. It should be a part of a Blender, because its native export it's possible the worst. Many commercial exporters available on Blendermarket seems to confirm it. Thank you!
A couple of comments on the development: 1. Default position is not very happy, actually I imagined that I would do a right click on the collection/object/objects, and it would export it for me 2. The progress bar with abort button is missing, especially when you have large meshes can be useful 3. With the option [apply modifiers] it would be useful to have an option [apply selected modifiers] with a list to choose from, for example, I have a collection where the mesh is prepared as hypoly, but after disabling the subdiv, it is lowpoly, I would like to be able to export from a single collection the same mesh, without removing the modifier 4. Maybe I didn't notice, but the option [export collection as a single mesh] would be useful. 5. Transformations should be disabled by default
wish i knew this sooner. i spent a week trying to do the same thing in Maya in MEL many years back. Thanks for making this awesome tool for batch exporting! turns out godot doesnt like my 120mb model
I just tried it and the stl file export seems to be broken. The scale is off for the models and they're huge except for one layer which is correct size when checked in cura.
This was close to what I was looking for. Unfortunately it doesn't have animation export settings. It only exports the current animation and replaces the animation name any workarounds for that?
@@mulberrytg i found the solution what you have to do is dont unzip the zip file, just put it in a spot where you can find it and then install the zip file directly

After installing the addon, I cant find it in the search bar. Im on 3.3.0
My issue was i extracted the folder, make sure you just click on the zip file in the preferences menu

I tried obj export and still the same result. I applied the scale to all layers before exporting btw.

There seems to be an issue though. Empties are moved to the origin of the object and scaled x100. That's problematic for sockets.
