BBC Radio 2 FULL Steve Wright + news Theme (no voices)

- I took this from many other clips available on youtube and put this together to get what i think is a faithful representation of the steve wright news theme - without the talking DJ's. The only thing i changed was the transition from the Steve Wright theme to the bbc R2 news jingle.

Steve Wright in the Afternoon was brilliant and the show will be greatly missed. Mr. Wright is one of the all-time greats of radio in Europe and America.

I remember is like it was yesterday. 2PM (UK time) Tuesday September 11 2001. Stevie all keyed up and excited ready to do his normal thing. Then suddenly, it all went out of the window. All normal BBC TV and radio shows abandoned because the Twin Towers had just been hit.

Exellent, I listen to steve wright via my telly service provider as we cant get Beeb radio here in ireland. Its an exellent show, lively, upbeat, feel good,, Best radio show around as well as Ken Bruce as well. I love this tune, very uplifting, brilliant.

@shriramvenu I agree but this the track here is used frequently to fill time. He uses other musical jingles that are long winded and unecessary too. It seems that he's coasting along now off the back off his early success. Time to move to Magic or Smooth FM methinks.

radio 2 is boring it is for old duffers, so is classic and radio 3 which are both shit due to classical music,
Jack FM (Bristol), Wessex FM (Dorset) and Heart are the best :D
Crap tune for one of the most overpaid presenters of all time. Awful
