Joe Jonas is breaking his silence just days after he and his wife, Sophie Turner, confirmed that they are separating in joint statements. On Sunday, the pop star addressed the rumors about his divorce during the Los Angeles leg of the Jonas Brothers' Five Albums. One Night Tour, where he asked his fans to not believe everything they read.
“It's been a crazy week,” he addressed the crowd during the concert.
While tacitly coming to Turner's defense, implying that the rumors circling the media last week shouldn't be believed, he shared with the crowd, "I just want to say, if you don't hear it from these lips, don't believe it. OK?" - บันเทิง
The Jonas brothers actually performed at my middle school before they were a part of the Disney machine. This was before i went there BUT my brother saw them. They gave out their EP to all the kids and my brother told me kids were throwing them out as they left the auditorium. My brother kept his, gave it to me, and i played it constantly on the CD player in our living room. That EP will always have a special place in my heart

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes around the time Nick Jonas started talking publicly about his diabetes. That really helped me feel less weird and it helped me see that this life-changing diagnosis didn't need to hold me back.
It helped my son too, who also has Type 1, diagnosed at age 11. Nick was the only one I heard of until Sophie Turner married one. I’d heard of the Jonas Brothers but Nick was the only Jonas whose name I knew.
Something else that I feel like is at play with the joe jonas pr machine is that I think the JoBro wives were a big part of the 2019 rebrand. They were all featured in the Sucker music video, and I feel like part of the reason the guys were able to transition to a more grown up status was because they were showing off how they’d settled down and had these amazing gorgeous women by their side, and they were gonna coast on pop wife-guydom from then on. So I feel like Joe/his team feel like they Have to make it seem like the dissolution of his marriage isn’t at all his fault, because otherwise their wife guy brand gets tainted. But also idk these people so who knows

You guys are saints, my heart 🥺. I've been a Nick girl since day 1 but since their reunion have developed a much greater appreciation for Kevin. His down-to-earth-ness.. the fact he married his high school sweetheart pretty much since day 1 and they are still going strong- makes my heart melt. Kevin is literally ME as a Jonas Brother. It's just i've always been crushing on Nick.

I honestly grew fond of Kevin cause of the show. He’s a bit of a doofus but super sweet and a bit of a nerd and idk he just seemed nice and living his life no drama no muss no fuss and I respect that. I guess that translated to me liking him best.

The Jonas Brothers used to live in a town near mine, and they'd go to the theater that I'd go to sometimes. They'd rent out a whole theater to themselves so they wouldn't be hounded, but teen girls would hang outside the men's bathrooms if they thought they were in there 💀
I was a closet Jonas Brothers fan in high school. I didn’t want anyone to know I liked them because I thought pop music beneath me or something silly like that. Kevin was always my favorite because he seemed so responsible and normal compared to Nick and Joe. As an anxious risk averse teen who didn’t drink or party (or drive), I related to Kevin and kind of projected this levelheaded persona onto him. He also seemed like the brother most interested in the music and band management and that was appealing to me. I’ve only met one other person in my life who also loves Kevin (one of my close friends).
I was so fucking hype when they dropped Sucker and Happiness Begins. It was so sweet to see them and their wives in the video together. As a Kevin fan, I thought it was nice that he didn’t marry a celebrity and hopefully has a quiet life away from some of that rabid attention. I was an adult when Happiness Begins came out and did not care about how people perceived me based on my interests so I yelled my love for the Jonas Bothers from proverbial rooftops and reveled in it. Loving the Jonas Brothers as an adult has been an exercise in not having shame about my interests.

Nick was a darling of the LGBT movement for a hot minute, then gave this weird, rambly speech in front of the iconic Stonewall that seemed to indicate he didn't understand anything. He thankfully backed away from that, but I think it changed how ally celebs positioned themselves at LGBT events.

The horror and shock I felt when hearing Camp Tock only came out in 2008. This was literally a year before I went to college, but somehow I remembered Camp Rock as a part of my childhood 😮 If anyone'd asked me, I'd have said it came out when I was like eleven, not literally 16 😮😮😮

I found out about Jonas Brothers through their show and I guess it was either because of the one episode I watched or just my preference on the basis of their faces, idk, but Kevin was my favourite right from the start. I remember nothing of them before Sucker except for Nick and Joe's relationship with their respective spouses, being an Indian nerd.

sucker was a total bop and the happiness tour was great and all but i’m kind of curious about the longevity of their comeback. my sister and i went to the happiness tour because we always wanted to see them as kids but i really don’t plan on going to another one of their shows and i’m wondering how many other people went for the same reasons

I went for the Remember This tour for the same reasons as not having seen them as a kid. Def had fun, but I went earlier this month for the 5 albums in one night tour and I had way more fun that the last show. The nostalgia was great, and they seemed stronger as brothers and a band. I can see myself continuing to go as long as they keep touring!

Jobros were my first concert too, summer of 2007. I didn’t know who they were, but my cousin (a few years older) was obsessed (and still very much is, I love her sm) so we took her. I had a blast and immediately fell in love and my favorite was KEVIN because I already wanted to feel a part of the counterculture. Plus we had done the meet and greet package and he was so so kind, while nick was shy and Joe was standoffish. I stand by their eponymous album being a very excellent pop rock record.
Also I was in 5th grade when I saw them, if I had known that Kevin would become quite conservative I would have NOT given him my support

I loved Jonas Brothers when I was a pre-teen and went to their concert in 2009 when they came to Brazil: never care a lot for their carreer with Disney: also I became a Taylor Swift fan AFTER Joe broke up with her via phone, so I guess I have to thank him for that

i grew up with them. like many, i jumped on the bandwagon on hating them. i thought they were overrated, and tried too hard,annoying etc. i also didn like that they were signed with disney and trying to be hip and cool. now fast forward today, i realize just how hardsh i was on them and realized how talented they are. especially nick jonas. they all can play more than 1 instruemnt, write songs and act. somthing that other boy bands dont do. and most of thier music is actaully really good. when you look me in the eyes is without a doubt thier best song.

being a jonas fan for over 15 years, joe's pr moves completely changed my outlook on them. I've been to their shows every time they're in my country but I don't think I'd go again, I actually would feel bad about giving them my money now.
