Thank you so much! I’m sure you’ll be a great cardiac nurse one day. Keep studying and working wisely and give it all you got. Let me know if you need anything! Take care!
Amazing combination between fun vlog and lecture!!! I'm so glad I found your channel. I'm graduating in May this year and hope to get hired on a cardiac floor as well. Good luck with your work and take care :)
I am a new grad and I will be starting my residency soon. Ill be working at a cardiac-stepdown unit and working nightshifts. Watching your video made me feel more relaxed and excited. I cant wait 😍 Thank you for being so educational with your video and giving us an overview of what type of patients will be assigned to us 🫀🫁
Hi! Thank you so much for watching! And congratulations on finishing nursing school and becoming a nurse. Also congratulations on the cardiac position! I remember when I first started. I was super nervous and anxious! So many things to learn, so many concepts to remember, so many skills to obtain. BUT ask a lot questions, remain excited, always be on time, always ask to do things, be kind, and BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF. It’s okay to be scared, it’s okay to not know stuff right away, it’s okay for things to repeated until you learn them. You know more than you think you do. I’m super excited for you! Let me know if you need anything. Stay safe! 🫀
How was it in the beginning of your position. I am not sure what to prepare, but i am also going to be working in a cardiac -stepdown. Do i need to learn anything hand. I am doing my residency on the 18th. Did you like the position?
Thank you so much for this video!! Im a senior in hs rn (also in NYC!) going to attend a BSN program in the fall. I really appreciate you showing what you do on the job and explaining so thoroughly its hard to find content like this from nurses on yt!! You deserve way more followers and likes. I look forward to your future videos! (and thank you for working during this difficult time!
Hi, Happy New Year! Thank you so much! I am so excited for you. It’s a tough and arduous journey ahead, but super worth it. I hope you get to vlog your future nursing journey as well. Let me know if you have any questions about NYC BSN programs! All the best, future nurse!
Hi christian, thank you for the video, it was very informative. I'm a cardiac ICU nurse outside the us and hopefully I start working in the US before the end of 2023 and I was so nervous about it but Your video calmed me down and showed nursing in my country is very similar to the US, so I probobly will be fine 😊
Omg why are you so cute, get out of here with that ;D I'm starting initial research into a possible cardiothoracic nurse career and I found your video here. Informative, educational, entertaining, and fun to watch. Ty for posting this - it's been helpful! I'd love to watch more cardio nursing videos if you decided to make more.
wow, i love this kind of videos. It's so informative. I hope you'll get many chances to do more related to this field including change shift report and charting like quick overview. Thank you😊
Thank you so much Christian, I just started my journey as a nursing student in UK and I have been posted to Cardio surgery Unit. Your video has really help me to have idea of what I am going to be doing. Thank you .
This video was so informative! I'm in my third semester of nursing school right now and have a cardiac exam coming up and this video really helped tie everything we've been learning together. I also am interested in working on a cardiac floor after graduation, so it was cool to see what kind of things the nurse does during a shift. Thank you for this video and everything that you do! I would love to see more content like this.
Hi Rachel! Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words. Congratulations on almost reaching the end of nursing school! You're doing great and will continue to do so. I know for sure the journey hasn't been entirely easy so far, but you're almost there! I might be biased, but cardiology is the best specialty (haha)! Please update me how your nursing journey goes and when you finally start in a cardiac unit. Let me know if you have any questions! 😃
@@chrsfranz Hi Christian! My nursing school journey is coming to an end. I wanted to update you and share the exciting news that I just applied for an internship on a cardiac telemetry unit! I wanted to wait to share until I got accepted, but it's too exciting!
Hello from SAI! Nice to meet you! Your vlogs are so cool and informative, and your personality is so warm. I always liked science growing up and I'm so glad you include science facts. ⚕
I am sooo late to this but this video is awesome! I had to pause to write my comment. I am a new grad and was offered a position on the cardiac pcu and have been terrified. I am hoping that my coworkers are just as nice and easy to ask questions to as yours are.
Hi Cianna! Thank you for watching and stopping by. Congratulations on the new position! I understand and remember how terrifying and daunting it is, but you know more than you think you do and are capable of doing many things. You got this!! Update me how it goes
You covered what to expect as a cardiac nurse so well! I’m on a medical telemetry unit and this video made me look forward to transitioning in the future to PCU. Thank you! 😊
i'm only in my very early teens but I truly love Cardiac nursing and that's what I want to be when i'm older so for now I watch alot of Cardiac nurses on youtube, I look at their experience ,what they do , pros and cons and many more .hopefully I will become a Cardiac nurse in future .Thanks for the informative vlog
Hi! Thank you so much. Congratulations in entering cardiology. I might be biased, but it's the best specialty. Haha. Enjoy your new home and be prepared to learn a lot. All the best!
Hi , your video is soooo good ! This is the field I want to work in! I’m an RN but I am in school for my BSN , how were you able to get this position and what would your recommend as in your certifications and things that would make you more qualified for this?
Just in case he doesn't reply I will you can do a ASN or a BSN so 2 or 4 years nursing school and then if your in a more rural setting you can immediately start working on a cardiac floor or bigger hospitals they have residencies/fellowships which can be between a few months to a year so quickest path is about 2 years and a half years
@@KhizerHayyat-si9uu no for the BSN which is the 4 year school it's really only important if you are planning on going into something more administrative like Nursing supervisor or educator the ASN is efficient enough to get your RN and with the RN you can do the additional residency to go into cardiology
That was a really beautiful video. “I need Jesus!” Everyday of this life I live in this beautifully crafted temporal body that God made. Praise You Lord 🫀✝️🥳
If I ever need open heart surgery, God forbid, I am going to need significantly increased pain control before even thinking about moving out of bed. Picture the walking zombies cities around the country on fentanyl. That’s about the condition I would need to be in. Just the curious thing I’ve been thinking about, and what year in your training do they start, teaching or conditioning use to be desensitized to the pain that you have to cause patients?
The ending part is so emotional. Thank you for this.
This was the best day in the life video for a nursing specialty I’ve ever seen. You’re great!
Thank you so much for sharing this video is awesome for nursing students like me. Very informative.
A positive video about nursing 😊 I love the end “a new found family outside of home” ❤
