They say that the middleman whos info they use on their second account has nothing to do with this and that they ( the person consigning ) takes full responsibility.
James could have turned a blind eye like many other auction platforms and consigners have done and pocketed a fat commission. But integrity is priceless and James has that in spades. Thank you for what you do for the Pokemon community.

They were when they started but after a while it becomes a grift nothing else to them. They act rich but can't be that wealthy if they have enough time to shill bid every auction of cards they own. It's just low level behaviour by an individual who luckily just got in earlier than most to this TCG.

Any time I make a bid on something on your page, and I notice someone with basically no feedback out bid me, I go elsewhere for the card. eBay has gotten so bad with this that auctions always feel like a scam.
We don’t allow a zero feedback buyer to bid on more than 1 item on our store at a time we have that rule set on our store. But I haven’t noticed that zero feedback cancel more than non zero feedback.

No it’s not. Those were legit and buyers were happy to have them to complete sets. That was just a strange anomaly that sometimes happens with auctions
To be honest m8 it's not about shill bidding it's about false inflation of cards it will now show as cards being really expensive when they are not as expensive as they are being portrayed as. It doesn't matter whether you bad mouth the guy he is sitting pretty on cards that are inflated in price because of his dodgy dealings, he can now liat on ebay when ever he likes in who ever he wants to list under with cards double or treble the price 😮 it's a disgrace and it's been going on for years hence why I got out of collecting pokemon cards. It all started when people started grading them and the cards were being inflated to stupid amounts so dealers started buying up all the mint cards cheap and grading them then list them at ridiculous prices. Now we are seeing shilling on a scale not seen before and yet the ungraded card price is still low
Stopping a shill bidder is always great! But it also begs to ask do you do that for every auction that happens on ur account? Or just focus on the big ones? Because even less valued cards get shill bid. And if you dont catch those aswell thats basically just being salty towards someone with high value cards. 😂
At scale, you cannot stop every shill bid that happens, realistically. We do our due diligence, but higher priced cards naturally have more of an effect on the market and on the people in the market. It’s not being salty because someone has an expensive card, it’s protecting future buyers of that card. If we got a message from someone asking if a $20 card was being shilled we would have looked into it the same exact way.
