I always enjoy an update! I've toyed with the idea of nickel plating a few parts on the T but haven't got around to it. Maybe in the future. Your dad's diary is a treasure... It's obvious you have inherited his best qualities. Cheers from the shed
Good to have you back on line Ian. I only just survived the explanation but that says more about me and not your decryption, which is interesting as knew of it as a means of tax but not how it came about.
The plating work is amazing. Great job! I keep a log for my Willys Overland station Wagon, all service work. Fuel fill ups get done on library book checkout cards.
Thanks for explaining the tax rateon British autos. I like the plating results you yave gotten so far. I will have to look into that for my car. Looking forward to seeing the next one.
@@ac2litre it was interesting to see your 'On Four Wheels'. I have the full set of 'On Two Wheels' from the same era, in the original Orbis binders. Quite a useful resource, but similarly prone to editorial license. Best wishes, Dean.

Many thanks. It is satisfying doing plating, but you have to be really meticulous.
I wish I was good with cars.. My old Bentley is a pain every time it goes wrong.
Brilliant update Ian. Your attention to detail is astonishing. I can't wait to see you tackle the steering wheel!
Thanks :) Dismantling the self-cancelling indicator switch is always fun (done it before). Springs fly out!
I forgot to mention, the horse at 13:18 was at Southwold (1976) delivering to the pub.

Thanks. Pleased to see you're still watching :)

Thank you. I'll have an update on the plating, and the AC engine, in my next video soon.
Excellent update Ian.
Many thanks :)
