- Superman the Ride is the award-winning hyper coaster at Six Flags New England. This Intamin mega coaster has claimed the top spot in Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards several times and it's not hard to see why. This coaster has one of the best layouts in the world, as the first half is an out-and-back coaster while the second half is a twister. The ride was temporarily renamed Bizarro from 2009 to 2015, but it's now named after the Man of Steel yet again.

I’ve been on it. Literally one of the best coasters in the world in my opinion.

The sound of the train disengaging from the chain and loudly clicking against the teeth gives me chills, no other coaster sounds like that
It's quite the sound.

That layout is something else - if only it still had the T-bars instead of the U-bricks.
While I agree the T-bars were better, I don't hate the U-bricks now that I understand their quirks.
The U-Bricks are uncomfortable to an extent, but I think they’re a bit overhated

This is a great ride shame it dosent get talked about anymore. Superman is one of the best hypers on the planet and I cant wait to get back to six flags new England this year to ride it

I recognize all the employees working the ride. I am working at sfne this year in d3 (fireball, lower dc area, wild wheels, krazy kars, zoom jets, and whirlybirdz).

Rode this for the first time on the 15th. My coaster count is small at the moment (29) but this is definitely my favorite Intamin and I’m debating whether this or Nitro are the better Hypers

I think Nitro is probably better, with the untrimmed camelbacks. I said probably because I haven't ridden Superman yet.

Yes
When you exit the ride, you usually end up passing right under the track in the clip at 0:41 right when the next train comes through. It's so loud when it passes and has startled me multiple times when I wasn't expecting it.

Question, is it better than Millennium Force?
With the new wheels it got in 2019, yes.
@@CanobieCoaster I thought the wheel bogies felt rough on Millennium Force this year, it reminded me of Tig'rr at Indiana Beach
