- Riddler Revenge is a Vekoma suspended looping coaster at Six Flags New England. This invert originally opened as Mind Eraser back when the park was known as Riverside, but this coaster was rethemed to the Batman villain for the 2018 season. But the best change was when the coaster received new trains with vests for the 2017 season.

I like Vekoma SLCs, I also like the ones that opened with the old Vekoma SLC trains with over the shoulder restraints

Man! Trims are excessive at the end! AstroWorld's Serial Thriller was more tame in the brake dept. Ours went to Great Escape & stored there. La Ronde ended up with it. I was disappointed 'we' didn't get a B&M invert, but SFoTX & Sea World already had two in the state. After AW's closure SF Fiesta got the 3rd clone B&M. AW was "red hair" step child of Six Flags. Batman the Escape was also a head banger. Love the paint scheme on this one. Given the right restraints, this ride is pretty alright!
The final brake on this one is brutal.

The headbanging in the old version for you was able to mitigate or avoid if you lean to one side or inevitable

Since it was my first time here last summer and most of it's roller coasters were clones I've ridden in other parks, I chose not to be in a hurry for them. However I did do this clone only as I had never ridden an SLC before and this was one of the more enjoyable ones. While there's no head banging compared to what it probably had before the new vest restraints, you still need to be careful with your head when you hit that final break as it could hit the seat back once it comes to a full stop.
I agree it's still jerky, but I appreciate the lack of headbanging.
Just rode this about 2 weeks ago. The restraints are definitely an improvement and remove all head-banging. But some of the transitions are rough and could be reprofiled, particularly the entrance into the sidewinder and the final brakes.
I agree it's not smooth, but at least you don't get headbanging.

I don’t know if it’s because the track work is bad or the train wheels are too loose on the track they look mesmerising off ride

The new train is much better. It makes the ride enjoyable. The old trains were uncomfortable.

Yes, they're vests that aren't near the heads of most riders.
@@CanobieCoaster I remember going on that when it was the mind eraser, the headbanging was bad. Just was wondering how safe those restraints are if they are soft. Do they get really tight?
