Nice to get that door fixed. That’s a typical warranty fix. It’s these visits to the dealer which are made much easier if you choose a dealer that’s fairly close to your home. We didn’t have a choice this time though. Wow getting £10K of the standard price of the Autoquest brings this van to a reasonable price for a new van. Thanks for taking us along 🙂🚐💙 Trev n Sue

Thanks and most welcome. They also had an Autoquest CV20 panel van down to £59k brand new. Quite a saving and new vans for what has been used money of late. This dealer is about an hour or so from for us, so not too bad for this and I was really interested to see how they would compare to previous experiences of other main dealers and I have to see they have been great. Yes - good to get these bits done before we head off next week to France and Spain. Can’t wait. 🚐😊 A&J

Thanks for the video and info. Were they your supplying dealer?

I had the same problem with my new Voyager habitation door. Seems like a design flaw as it meant having to remove some trim to get to the adjusting bolts.

@@JimThomson-p6v Seems to be a common fault - did you get it sorted ok? Ours were done well by the dealer and sustained 3000 miles round Europe and over some rough roads so has held up so far.

A few months ago i was chatting to someone in withernsea who had bought the same model two weeks previous. Said he will only keep 18 months maximum as the build quality was too poor for a full time live in van.

Interesting point that. I can understand that for a full time van maybe not robust enough… but they are not primarily designed for that and guess that’s why so many have bespoke panel vans scratch built inside for this reason. The build on our new Escape is pretty decent but full time is not the one we would choose.
