So I just finished The Future Diary/Mirai Nikki. I literally want to do one thing and that’s only cry. I even finished the OVA. I legit can’t stand this anime now. It’s by far my favorite. Here’s why: Assassination Classroom struck my favorite anime and became my new favorite anime because I related to the main character “Nagisa”. Sorta frail. Doesn’t know how to fight. Somewhat scared. Nervous. But when something happens to family or friends can get very angry and be strong. Everyone has someone they can relate to in Assassination Classroom. But not everyone can relate to someone in Future Diary/Mirai Nikki. I related to Nagisa who is very much Like Yukiteru The story and plot didn’t Change much as did Mirai Nikki’s plot did. This related a lot to Code Geass my second favorite. The idea of a Yandere in love with MC was pretty great on how the progression of yuno went on. The more she killed the more Yukki learns to help her. Having the Friends included later on and alliances between Users made fight scenes so much better! The story between each character seriously upgraded each and every episode. Each diary’s functionality and abilities are all thought out well. How characters that do die play certain parts even after death for certain characters was really cool. For example. (Spoiler) *when 7th dies, during the death it shows Yuno and Yukki How to love each other and teaches a good lesson there.* The development for even characters that do die is insane. It’s extremely well thought out and good. I felt such a connection to Yukiteru in the early stages during fights and stuff. It just hit hard personally. This anime will make you feel: Joy, Sadness, Hate, Anger, Depression, Unfulfilled. I personally want a second season that’s adds more to the story of Yukiteru and Yuno. It truly is way more then what I’ve listed. Please give this anime a try.
