      Very astute and adroit point . This could do Trump a good deal of advantage in debate!

    I find it hilarious, his damning statements about intolerance of controversy and adhesion to consensus. Seeing as the contemporary political and financial tyrants that use his tactics today have been using political correctness as a huge part of their leverage. The same phenomenon he states is evil in this clip

    He's right about the Edmund Burke Quote, It's really heavy hearing that In 2018. Back in the 60s the youth were much more organized, now we have social media movements and such. The way he says people who talk about how immoral things are but do nothing, are the worst, rotten people. Well there's a whole lot of talking going and not a lot of doing going on.

    Unlike other Americans I travel the world. Most so called poor people are happy.
    If you ask the average person in Mexico let's say..
    Which would you choose a path to happiness or truth.
    Most people in Mexico would pick the path of truth.
    Most Americans would pick the path to happiness.

      I'm sad to admit that even though, I would profess to choose the path to truth. Once I faced the opposite I would probably change my mind to happiness. Jeeze Americans are spoiled.

    Preaching about how great you are for the poor from your home in one of the most costly cities in the world; Carmel, California. Another elitist making a fortune off the poor. Hypocrisy exemplified.

    So obviously the people who posted comments under me obviously have never worked for a living. I don't know much about Saul D Alinsky, but from what I've heard of him, and know of him, is he was very influential and important in the teaching of organizing workers to gain better rights for workers. Rights for workers may I add that saved people from 16 hour work days, death on the job being common place, etc etc. These things were gained by organizing workers, so if these people who make these comments are so furious about Saul D Alinsky, and it's because he is so important for the education of worker organizations, then these people are basically for exploitation, slavery, and death. It's that simple, none of them are disagreeing with what he is saying, the comments under me are all just basically "screw this guy for what he stood for" and if you are against what he stood for, chances are you're one person on multiple accounts, or extremely ignorant and oppressed. You can be against the guy for sure I get that, but you can't have half a conscious if you are against the organization of poor and working folk.

    The question is, and he may be a decent man, does the study of him in elite law schools polevault people into extreme wealth and power. Machiavelli?

  • @BPAIZZY
    @BPAIZZY 7 ปีที่แล้ว +43

    The more I study him, the more I see a delusional. He was not the traditional have-not, for example, he had plenty later on in life, as well as much attention. The people he also fought against or didn't were a product of the times, as was he. Saul is outdated and a has-been, but his tactics still work, for both the left and the right.

    I don't know anything about this man....but I believe I understand what he is saying.....there are sections of a community that are badly done by...and speaking and asking in a reasonable rational civilised manner....gets them no where ..so coming together gets them heard...I don't agree with planned violence...but I suppose depending on what the situation was at the time..what course of militant actions would be provoked to be taken up....No such thing as asking nicely the richer upper class of people who are 'running' the institutions' are going to give anything up quietly and lovingly. Being humble meek and mild won no body any bread.

    He doesn't take many puffs off his cigarette and the ones he does take don't produce a lot of smoke. I don't like that at all. It makes me think there's something fishy going on. Was this really filmed in the 60s? Fake smoker!

    I seriously hope that people who hear Alinsky demonized by the right come here and hear his philosophy in his own words. When you can hear it from the horses mouth, why would you care for the opposing viewpoint?
