Before prime Roy Keane, Ince was my favourite player when was I was young lad. Him and keane bossed that United midfield in the mid 90s. Even at Inter Milan he was a standout performer in a star studded team.
He was also truly amazing for england. He was outstanding for england in Euro 96 and WC France 98.
Like him or not, he really was the Governor.

I was too young to see him in his west ham days.
I do remember the last few years he had with united and also the couple of years with inter Milan.
I used to love seeing his highlights and his interviews with James Richardson's football Italian show on channel 4.

Only problem is that he only played for 2 seasons with Keane and they didn’t win a trophy in one of those. He bottled taking a penalty in euro 96 and he missed a penalty in 98

@@sitaylor what did they win in the 94-95 season if you actually read what I wrote i said that they played together for 2 seasons and won nothing in one of them.

I was shocked when i heard that Fergie sold him, he was one of our best players. He had to put up with terrible racism in Italy from the his own fans and teammates.

Chelsea and Everton did a number on UTD that year as those two had good years in them! Hughes is a turncoat ruined his legacy at UTD managing City and Kanchelskis played for city and is regarded as an EVERTON legend and has no connection with UTD to this day!

Went to Liverpool because he thought they had a chance to win the title but Chelsea were in fact the team to come closer during that period

@@jimclawley9117 Ince had two seasons at Liverpool, the second of which (98/99) Chelsea were top on goal difference with 2 games to go but drew them both and finished 3rd, 4 points behind United who won the treble
