Yes but in training people I've found that often the main problem is them handling recoil. It takes them a long time to work that out without actual shooting .

I do agree! Recoil is a huge part of it. But the number of people I've shot with that don't even know how to hit paper is a great place to start. Not to mention, wouldn't you agree repetition and muscle memory is a great thing to hone? Recoil is just 1 piece of the puzzle.

@@jeffofalltrades8489 Definitely true. I actually learned handling stress and tension in combat in the 60's. Made it through three tours with Army S.F.

I felt like I had to purchase both. The x3 for and in addition to live fire at a range. And the laser academy for the targets indoors. What am I not understanding about this concept?

@jeffofalltrades8489 yes, I purchased two of both, then an extra 380 for the academy, 1 ea. for my wife and 1 for me.

Is it possible to use both (mantisx and laser academy) at the same time and cross the data?

@@FBINSA That's a great question, but not really ... they are used for 2 pretty different things. The MantisX is used for trigger pull and muzzle control. The laser academy is pretty much a hit and show program where you get instant feedback of impact on a target.
