I am currently using the Silverettes. My son is 9 weeks old. They definitely help speed up the discomfort of sore nipples. Unfortunately, my baby boy is colicky, so he tends to cluster feed quite often. Admittedly, there are times when he is latched too shallow and I feel too exhausted to fix it 😭
Oh my goodness, if he is cluster feeding I am sure the Silverettes are a nice relief to your tired nipples. Hang in there! He may be going through a growth spurt and hopefully the cluster feeding will slow down
@@KassiReyes He was born at 35 weeks, so I feel like he eats so often for comfort. His weight is right on target, so I don’t think he cluster feeds to increase my milk supply. I drink Mother’s Milk Tea 3-4 times a day and I drink a gallon of water everyday. Typically, he starts to feed every 1-2 hours every afternoon. He’s been doing this since he was about 3 weeks old. I honestly don’t understand…the only explanation I can think of is the colic 🤷🏽♀️
So thankful my lactation consultant recommended these when our baby was just a few days old! My question is - when do you stop using these? Are they for the entire breastfeeding journey? If I stop using them all the time will my nipples fall apart lol
Don’t know how I missed this 😂🫶 I hope you figured out that they are awesome to use for as long as you want or need them. I come back to them time after time. Whenever there is a bit of soreness from nursing.
what would your reccomend for someone with large brests (dd,e,f) but small (short) nipples. I'm wondering if they are supposed to touch the nipple to soothe or just cover it. I have this issue with flange size too... Thanks.
Im 8months into breastfeeding and only just got serious wound. It’s when he started teething. Do you still recommend this with open cut in nipple? Thank you!
Have you tried Silverettes? What was your experience?
They don’t do shit
I've been using it with my 5 week old and I haven't had any issues with cracking or bleeding. I think it works

Thank you, I'm highly allergic to nickel and I wanted to try these but I was worried it wouldn't be safe for me. Now I don't have to worry!
This is the most informative and boring video at the same time 😭
hahaha. Noted. Thank you for watching :)

I stopped using these around month 3. Only if gets a bit sore I get back. But it helps at the first months for sure..

Hi does the nipple need to touch the Silverettes to heal? I’m hearing it does and doesn’t. Don’t know which size to get thanks

I have the same question
How long do you leave them on for?
