I was at this show- it's from the 4th June 2001 at the Royal Albert Hall in London- honoured to be there for the finest ever live performance of this tune- I've got at least 20 versions of this song live, and this is by far and away the best out there. Legend!

This is a great version of Junkie Doll, but I'm always trying to find a version as good as my mind remembers his live performance at DAR Constitution Hall in DC. I sent his label and his website a message following the show to assure them I would buy the recording for that cut alone if they would ever release it!
I wonder who has the original recording of this because this mix needs some serious changes. Mark has never ever played like this: like a lefthander .... but his band is too quiet!! They and MK are fantastic!!

One of the best songs MK has ever done LIVE...
the other was Hill Farmer Blues. Both are as good as it gets.
I would also add Telegraph Road, especially the live recording from Sevilla (2015) is really good!

I like the audience version in Lyon best on so far not by sound quality. But by Mark's performance.

It's not hamburg because that's a soundboard recording this isn't
hamburg 2001 -- the best live version by a landslide--do your homework dude!
