Nice job explaining the hoe operation, best explanation I’ve found on TH-cam! I was able to figure out the operation on my little John Deere hoe when I got it,but after much frustration, and lots of errors. I wish I would have found you channel then. After watching your video I’m sure I’ll get better. Thanks!
Very helpful and informative. Didn't really understand the directions from the levers, and took notes to help get better. Have a Kioti with about 25 hours on it, and have a ton of digging to do. Thank you so much for taking the time and excellent presentation! Much appreciated!!!
Hi, I have a cheap Chinese tractor with a 3-point linkage backhoe on it. I had not used a backhoe be for this one. I have used it a lot and like use it to dig out stumps and some trenching, but I could not get used to the controls after watching your video I realized the person who put it together in the first place had the hoses on the rams back to front. What should go in went out and what should go up went down, the only one that was correct was moving the boom left or right. I have changed the hoses over and it is much easier to use. So thank you for making the video.
very informative.i've bought a new Kioti with a backhoe and struggling trying to learn the controls.this video helped alot.i'm going out to practice now.thanks again.
I am waiting for the delivery of my mahindra 4550. I got the Harbor Freight Trencher. It did a good job, but oh so slow one movement at a time. It is good to see someone giving out good information on operation and control.
That 4550 is going to be a beast! I'm assuming you're getting the backhoe with it? If so, make sure to check where the lines run, because some of the hydraulic lines are not well protected, and will wear through very quickly along sharp edges. I made a video on this, check my channel under Mahindra playlist for The video on backhoe failure
Great how-to video. I noticed that you may have had your loader bucket folded over for stability perhaps - to keep the machine from dragging toward your hole. Maybe you can explain in what position to have your loader while digging. - Thanks!
Yes, for front and back stability, also to distribute the weight equally between the two front wheels and the loader. Some people lift their front wheels off the ground with the loader while they use the back hoe, I try to distribute the weight between the three. Great question, I wish I explain that better in the videos, thanks for asking and for watching 🙂

Push your boom into FLOAT and curl the bucket in while pulling the stick in.
Very effective for trenching
