Thailand's military on Thursday (28/9) warned that it would again open fire on Cambodia's warring factions just across the border if shells unleashed during their battle landed near a Thai paratroopers' barracks. A stray shell on Wednesday (27/8) killed one Thai paratrooper and wounded two others. The Thai Foreign Ministry lodged an official protest with Cambodian authorities. The fighting spilled over into Thailand after Hun Sen's government forces launched a massive artillery barrage, followed by a ground troop movement, on the beseiged troops of ousted Cambodian First Premier Prince Norodom Ranariddh.

As I watrch this I felt sad. But the Philippines is quite lucky. It is an archipelago no border conflict. Its hard to have a conflict because a country needs to have a strong Navy to launch an invasion., Unlike countries with same borders one can easily cross.

It was not war between Thailand-Cambodia. Thai soldiers helped Cambodian wounded soldiers to hospital on Thai side.
