The UNREAL Truth about Anandamayi Ma and Paramahansa Yogananda, the Kriya Yoga Master and founder of Self Realization Fellowship. A lot has been said about Yogananda posthumously - this video addresses some of these things and attempts to give the Himalayan Kriya Yoga master's perspective on them. Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath has also had personal experiences with Anandamayi Ma, the bliss permeated mother, which he describes here, in the context of the Avadhoot Avatar Doctrine. This doctrine of knowledge attempts to put things in their proper place in terms of spiritual hierarchy. Reigning over the hierarchy of the heavenly host is the divine visible-invisible savior called Mahavatar Babaji, who is the Mahayogi and Mahaguru and supreme Yogiraj, called the Nameless One, and yet goes by many names, including the Non-Being Essentiality, The Is-ness of the Zero-Not-Zero, The Eternal Now, Shiv-Goraksha-Babaji, Gorakshanath, Gorakhnath, The Lightning Standing Still, the Lakulish of the Lilac Lagoon, the Lightless Light which Lights That Light which Lights the Light of All Our Souls, and so on and so forth.

Anandamayi Ma stole my heart from the first time that my eyes gazed at her
Yogananda is my Master. He walked gracefully on eggshells in America among dogmatic people. His job was difficult indeed. Om Peace Amen.

There are parts of the book Mother Reveals Herself that are frankly horrifying and frightening. Such would be the mortal reaction upon meeting Durga. Ma was compassion incarnate, but like Tara She could also manifest fierce aspects. She belongs to all, not just Hindus. ☸️

Some things may be real but not True and conversely, something may be untrue and yet real. We have just defined Maya, which seems very real but isn't True. The delusion of our material "reality" is the very essence of our sensory seduction into believing this world of matter is True. But our Divine nature as Soul Consciousness is the unreal truth about us. We are a soul with a body and not, a body with a soul. So in expressing something so fantastic, we say its "unreal". Is that clearly obscure?

@LennyRevell Anandamai Ma was an avatar which is a divine incarnation. She allowed her body to age as a normal person does. She could have, at any time, kept Her youthful beauty. But She chose instead to work out the karma of others on Her body and allowed nature to take it course until She left. So trying to use the details to disprove the state of a great saint is a futile endeavor. She graced this Earth with Her presence and many stories about Her power of miraculous healing abound.

How can someone work out the karma of others? It makes me think of Christian saints known as victim souls who took on the sins of others.I don't understand how it is possible for one person to take on the sins or karma of someone else.To do so makes karma/sin seem lightweight or fantasy-like.I cant find the words to express what I mean.I would think a person's karma sticks to him or her so how can someone else lighten the load?

@leonetski it is Yogiraj who has declared her an Avatar as per his own realization. Yogananda in "Autobiography of a Yogi" also did not refer to Lahiri Mahasaya nor Sri Yukteswar as avatars. It was declared later "off the record" so to say.

Guruji...billions of people on the planet, so many depart everday, many more are reborn . Everybody born with burden of previous karmas. But as the population keeps on rising, there must be new souls entering earth with no previous karmas. Then what is the basis for a new soul to be born here as they have no karmas. How and who decides which new soul is born rich/poor, religion,talent,wisdom, and many such factors.

Kriya Yog can only be taught from Guru to chela or from acharya to student. It is a sacred technique that must be given from person to person. The Guru must empower or ignite the technique with the disciple in order for Kriya to work or be effective. The Guru connects the technique to the chela's kundalini to engage it.

An avatar doesn't necessarily have to have a perfect physical vehicle even as he or she may show some signs of supernatural powers (like no casting shadows). Jesus proves the most revered incarnation of God in the West, yet he also experienced physical discomforts and imperfection during his life time. He experienced pain when nailed on the cross; however, that doesn't contradict the fact that Jesus was and is a true Avatar.

You should come and meet Gurunath who is a living Avatar. Having Him as a SatGuru allows a sharing of His Divine consciousness as He assists us, His chelas, toward our own Divine nature. Its better not to concentrate on the spiritual states of others. Focus instead on the Guru's grace and connect with the Spirit of His soul which will bring you Home to God. Become ablaze with love for the Divine; combine shakti(kriya yoga) with bhakti(devotion) and fly Home to your own Divinity.

What is the first step that you need to take in order to come on the path of attaining Siddhi? I know a person who knows about everything and on the other hand he says that He's not a Siddha.Well, He gave me a couple to instances to bring me on the right path but I wanted to consult it with you also.

Why Jesus needed help on the cross? Avatars take human form and they have to play the "lila" like everybody else. They have to descend in human body, and by nature the human body is not perfect,at our level, so you and I can understand and feel their divinity.

An Avatar does not show there siddhis or powers 24/7. That would frighten and unnerve people. Avatars only show Their miraculous abilities to the initiated or to their devotees and disciples, at the appropriate place and time, in order to bestow the spiritually uplifting blessing of grace. Christ didn't walk on water all the time, most of the time He sailed on the sea of Galilee in a boat,

If they don't cast a shadow, or don't cast a shadow only to their devotees, at the appropriate place and time, could that mean that another person might have an experience with a being for whom they are the devotee, and for them that being won't cast a shadow at the certain time and place? Perhaps is that why no one else has been shown that specific criteria for you? I'm only curious. This is the first I've heard about this shadow criteria, but I don't even know how I came upon your video. I watched it all. Then I was compelled to type this question. Just after I typed the sentence "I'm only curious" I recalled some time ago I walked and was compelled to look for my shadow and there was none. At the time I thought it was unusal going against science. But I am not interested in science patterns so I thought nothing more of it.......until now. It makes sense in the context of your whole video that we /must/ become our own guru. Truth!

The Avasta or spiritual state of being, is what determines where one is in the sequence of Consciousness Evoluition. The sequence is Paramahansa, Siddha, Avdhoot, Avatar. Avatar, being the highest, is a Divine incarnation. So in order for anyone to not cast a shadow, they would have to be an Avatar; a God Realized incarnation of Divinity Itself. I hope I've been clear about this. If you couldn't find your shadow when your were a child, then maybe you're really Peter Pan ;-) Anyway, having no shadow is not the only physical aspect of being an Avatar. The are several signs that prove the Avatar. Raising the dead being one of them also. 3~HY
You're fun. Thanks for your humor. I wasn't a child, but a child at heart so I guess that counts. :) I read the book Autobiography of a Yogi but the events that followed were quite something. I asked questions to others about the events and got no answers. Then the answers came internally and it appeared that it was more than I bargained for. Best wishes to you.

Yogananda writings are beyond words.
From time immemorial avatars have to perform some minor tricks to make the ordinary around them believe that they are avatars, people with speculations, why do avatars need glasses, why do they need to go to bathroom, why can't fly, these are mere so-called "Siddhis" which can be achieved by few years of penance by these avatars are unblemished and divine and one with GOD but bound by this gross body thus they also grow old, wear glass, go pee etc. but their message and their conduct is godly.
