Imo it will cost anything to Thomann in terms of money if they put the same headstock so the same neck as the Rx 10 (the Randy Rhoads inspired) that is way more nicer (more similar to the Ibanez headstock)
You need the exact measurements of both neck and see if they are similar. At least the Bc rich got to be bigger so you can eventually sand down some wood and adapt it to the Harley Benton cavity.
That headstock is what identifies it as a cheap copy. The one thing on this that they had to design from scratch, and it shows. But it looks like a cool modding platform in spite of that.

Would this be comparable with something like Jackson JS32 that you have in the background, or somthing like Ibanez GRGR 131EX-BKF. I am in search for affordable every day guitar, that I'm not going to baby that much, but that is still nice instrument with fast playable neck. JS22 Dinky is about 2 times the price, JS32 around 3 times (King V, Kelly, or Rhodes, or Worior). Would you rather go with Jackson JS32 King V for almost 3 times the price , or this Benton would be sufficient?
Hi man and thanks for your comment. To my hand and to my fingers the neck of the Mb was bigger and less shreddy and quick than the Jacksons and Ibanezs that I own. Keep in mind that the Mb was a big C shape and something like 350mm radius so some sort of hybrid, the finish was pretty good. Ibanez is in general 400mm and thin shape neck (the famous wizard in all possible variations) and Jackson is in general compound so from 304 to 400mm and has a thin shape neck too (the also famous speed neck). So in conclusion if you are looking for that speedy shreddy sensation I will save and get a GRG, a JS or speaking of Harley Benton at least a R-446
Late to the party, but my Korean made 2008 B.C. Rich classic koa has a wide D shaped neck with some shoulder. It‘s the fattest neck of all my 9 guitars. Still not a baseball bat though. Ibanez GIO has slimmer necks, except my one GS-140 with a thicker C shape and 43,3mm nut width.
Yep you need a different gig bag. Mine is for the explorer shape and it's ok for the Mockingbird, Randy Rhoads, Warrior and Firebird also. It's the Thomann Standard Xtreme Gig bag.

Absolutely!The only piece you can't replace is the neck so if you like the feeling and construction of it with less money you can have a really good guitar with a BC Rich's shape. of course it depends on how many pieces you replace cause if you replace all the eletronics, the pickups, the bridge, the tuners and the nut you will spend a lot and maybe it better saving a little more for a real Bc Rich.
@@StevenPerrone I’m pretty sure the other Bc rich clone models have bolt on necks, and I don’t really like the look of the headstock so I might hold off on getting this one and prioritize getting one of the other Models, most likely the Beast that they have. I have a BC rich mocking bird and the finish is awful.. Bubbled up at the bottom.. It stays in tune very well though.... Your copy seems like an exact copy of the mk1 minus the tuners
