I have the bal accuslides and I was quite happy to find that my 2024 forest river vibe 34xl came with these rollers on the slides straight from the factory. I've been over this whole rig with a fine tooth comb fixing and modifying things to work and wear better. I'm in residential construction where we have codes and such to ensure things are done correctly but these rigs are a crap shoot unfortunately. I laughed out loud when you said "you pay your money and you take your chances with these campers" that's exactly what I did and it's an uneasy feeling for sure especially for myself and I'm sure for you where we live by do the job right to begin with! Thanks for the informative video.
I have a roller that is not turning so the slide motor has to work extra hard to force the slide over it. So bad now that I have to push real hard to get the slide out and in.
I would contact Lippert and see if they make any rollers for their slide install. In my research, I found several different styles but only a couple would work correctly. Thanks for watching and good luck!
I used a cheap serrated long blade knife from Amazon. You need to have a low profile cutting tool and this cut pretty good. I cut from the outside. It depends on your layout but a utility knife might work out. Thanks and good luck!
You should research exactly what you have and what you need. Call BAL and talk to them. Mine are # 854303 which is a 3/4 inch roller. The thing with RVs are the thousands of different parts and part numbers used on very similar models. Good luck! Thanks for watching!

The rollers look like they will last as long as the camper and a lot less friction then the wear bars. Have a great weekend Pm! See ya!
I'm sure hoping that's the outcome! Time will tell.
Thanks for watching and have a good one!!
WOW
KEITH DROPPING IN,
YOU ARE DOING A HELL OF A GOOD JOB ON THAT.

You should be able to replace that roller......
?
I appreciate your quick response. Play say The length of screws that you used.
2 inch
Got it!
I know you have a Bal slide I wonder if Lippert has done this as well. I of course have a Lippert and it is doing the same on one edge of the slide.

I need to cut a 2" piece of wear bar out on each end - what tool did you use to cut it? did you cut from the inside or outside? thanks for the video.

Thanks! I ended up using an oscillating blade and that worked perfect.

1. What length screws?
2. What do the screws attach to?
Regards,
Check out my other video on the fasteners. It has some good points in it too.
RVs are so different model to model.
Thanks for watching!
What is the part number for the rollers?

Should have just put the piece you cut out back and then screwed it back together as one piece.
