My bind failed the first time too haha...but the second try was perfect. I just bought this beauty today and on display on my kitchen island until I can get a day off from work and the weather clears, but in the meantime, I'll enjoy looking at it each day. It really does make a nice display model.
My God that is a beautiful plane. The field I fly at is low cut grass, but even with the low cut grass, the scale details on the nose gear may get caught up in the grass. I'm not even sure if that beauty would even fit in my 2-Door jeep.
Nice going brother. GREAT Radio. You won't be sorry. Good quality make and feel. Not like the new NX line. Maybe the 10 is close in feel, but I hear other things about it not firing up,etc.

Skip, you must be an optimist- still have the air conditioner in the window lol! Same weather here today, exactly the same. That plane looks bad to the bone! Not sure if I will ever get a twin EDF, but if I did that one makes the short list.

The connections were taped with good tape but maybe not squeezed well and that lead and that "Y" lead only has like half an inch of play to the receiver so san be pulled out easily. In fact, my throttle lead was pulled out of the receiver so I had to pull it out to connect it and may have done it myself with that little play?
Good thing you were in front of your model not behind it it could have launched off the table of course you can't hit throttle cut yet until after the binding process is completed.
I am curious to know how you rate the SU 30 to the F18 hornet that you got a while back. I purchesed the F18 and have been having one heck of time getting the stabilizers lined up and gave up since the servo linkage is what is causing the issue. I am looking to replace the F18 with the Su30 so your input would be greatly appreciated, thank you. Also great videos on the jet it looks great.
Personally, I think the SU 30 is about the best built one yet. BTW, I did aa video on how to get the rear ele. stabilizers to line up. Search my playlist of the F-18
Hello skip you are the guy I keep watching when I need help, I did follow you when I got my Eflite carbon Z Cessna 150:; all my radio settings, I am getting the Eflite SU30 twin 70mm EDF jet, do you have a Video with radio setting for the Eflite su30 twin 70mm EDF jet?
Hi Skip question for you..So for some reason I'm unable to activate the safe select on my IX12 by putting both sticks down and in and flickering a switch up and down 5 times. What do you think I may be doing wrong?
You need to make sure that you are using an open working channel. Check the monitor on radio to see what switches are available. Try the switch just to the right of antenna on top and closest to you. That's the one that was open for me to use without having to re-assign a switch to an OPEN WORKING Channel. That should do the job. Hope this helps, Skip P.S. Are you a subscriber? Thanks Fred. Makes me want to go in and tape the connections. But I probably wont if it handles my bumpy road test.

Sorry,no. I understand that the recommended settings are pretty good
I wouldn't use safe select on this one only AS3X.

Funny how FMS can make rotating main retracts but Freejunk coundnt t figure that out on the F-14
I cant select a Switch for the Safe Mode, its always on...?

Try the aux2 switch. That worked for me. Also try rebinding the correct way for safe select per manual
