- Here it is Guys. Just needs to be set-up. Beautiful fitting jet without many hassles. So far only a couple minor complications arose during the build. Easily resolved in minutes. Liking this model a lot so far. BTW, the ventral fins get installed plastic side out. My Bad. Skip

You are right about that throttle cut with those as3x receivers ...only some do have that slight glitch

You should use just a small dash of blue locktite on all metal to metal connections, as long as there is no plastic involved. Never use locktite on plastic joints, but always on metal to metal. It's not a matter of if it will get loose, but when. I have noticed some manufactures even pre-applying a dash of locktite to screws on critical junctions.

Hi Skip.. Nice video!!! Keep 'em coming! About the throttle cut and some planes having the power come on during inital power up with the throttle cut set, you can fix that I think. Try setting the throttle cut to -100percent instead of -130 percent, which is the default that spektrum gives. That should fix that issue. It did at least with the Eflite esc on the 80mm F18

PS Skip...I have learned the hard way concerning those carbon wing rods. Sometimes they are of lower quality so now I always insert a SOLID carbon spar inside of the one supplied...Tip of the day for many!

You think this plane will fly indoors. I have a big living room. I hope I don't hit my Xmas trees. My birds may not like the twin 70 mm facing them but at least their cage will get a cleaning. Should I film the indoor SU30 maiden. Mine was delivered 30 minutes ago.
Only if you want to be like me when the throttle went open on the table. F-15..... Had to catch it before it hit the stove... LOL
If this model gets decent flight times it will be a must have. I am concerned about flight times with double the power set up though and the size of this thing.

I have a question......... Are the motors counter-rotating Or do they rotate in the same direction? If they do rotate in the same direction, have you faced any difficulty while flying this model?

Hi Skip, thanks for sharing and nice build. I have one question for you. Santa delivered a PNP for me, so do I need a Y harness for the throttle and ESC? Thanks!
No all you need to have is just a receiver with at least six channels 7 preferably. The throttle cable is the ESC so you don't need to y anyting. Just hook up to your receiver and you should be good to go
