the pineapple core has a lot of vitamin C and bromine and antioxidants it does taste bitter but you have to eat it with the sweet pineapples but it will not hurt you I've eaten it before thank you be blessed blessed blessed and blessings

@Chri33y123 yes! You're right about planting the top. I stick it in potting soil in a planter and water the soil lightly then within a week or two in a sunny location it should take root and start to thrive. Mine eventually grew a little pineapple after a couple of years. It was a sweet surprise indeed.
Thank you !! I’ve been on a pineapple craze, I would usually buy it pre-cut, but the store in my town only has whole pineapples so I had to learn how to cut a pineapple properly lol

Does the knife have to be a quality knife where it will actually cut where perhaps the handle or sharp part comes those knife comes from dollar tree or a real quality knife?

Put a wet towel under your cutting board so that it doesn't slide when you cut on it. Safety First Sis. Thx for the video
Completely unnecessary.

I'm not gonna lie sis. I try to keep as much of the pineapple as possible. It looks like a half of a pineapple when you were done with it 😄.

Agreed! I even keep the center part because it is edible.

You never cut the core out!
The core has a high concentration of bromelain. The core is delicious and should be eaten as well.
Yeah
Who gaf, I’m eating a pineapple bc it tastes good, not because it has “bromelain”, which isn’t proven to have any actual benefits in the first place.
