I’m a nail tech. I got hurt several years ago and had to have neck surgery. I haven’t been able to my nails since. I do however use press on nails cuz I can do them faster. I do every step she does here and it works!! I do a few things at the end though. Once they are all on I go over the back cuticle are with a fine grit file or buffer and blend the edge of the tip in with my natural nail bed. Then I go over them with a gel base and top coat to seal it in. They don’t move!!
I have a quick question?? Do u use primer too? Cause when I use primer my nails pop off within a few days.

The nail glue usually sticks under UV Lamp. Will it work without the lamp if applied on top of adhesive tab??

@@shivangibhola318 no youre thinking of the wrong glue. There is nail glue and then there is uv resin you must cure. It will not cure unless it is exposed to thelight under a clear nail, she is using acylic adhesive in the video. It is basic brush on nail glue that air dries.
Also, the way you put the press on counts. Going in at a 45 degree angle, cuticle end first, then lowering down, allowing glue to spread to entire nail is super important. Less air bubbles, more glue coverage.

Hell ya this is so accurate compared to others. I put primer on prepped nails. Then added glue straight onto primer then my press ons they lasted for 3 weeks.

i’m not a nail tech. but, my nails last me to a month with this method trust! i first do my cuticle you know the deal. then i clean them with alcohol & that dries them out too. then i buff my nail & all the dust that picks up i just blow on it & don’t clean the nail just leaving the left over residue. to ME that works as like powder & makes it stronger? idk. i put a bit of nail glue on my actual mail not getting close to the cuticle & put a bit on the fake mail close to the cuticle. hold down & if a bit of glue goes under the nail i think it’s a plus because it helps with no water going thru. & voila! like i said try this out for ME they last all month no lifting & i work retail unloading the truck.

I always push the nail down & hold it for at least 15 secs, even if it says “hold for 5,” I hold it longer.

When I put the glue on the nail and on my real nail it always overflows. Is there a specific glue y'all use? I'm using Nailbond Glue
All I do Is wash my nails with dial soap buff them real good to remove the shine let them dry place the glue on my nail then apply the press ons my nails lasted a whole month no popping off I shower everyday do dishes braid clean up bumped them NONE POPPED OFF they only came off bc I pulled them off using oil & water soak
When I prep right my press ons stay on til I’m ready to take them off which is 1-2 weeks but if they still look good and I’m not bored with them I’ll leave them on 3 weeks but after about 2 weeks I’m ready to change them out to something else but with the glue I use, it holds really good but at the same time I usually don’t have to soak them off and I can get them off without ruining my nail bed too much as well cause water helps loosen them up throughout those 1-2 weeks but not so much they pop off easy but enough where you can get them off without soaking and which I love cause soaking off can be tedious

This is so helpful for me because Every time I put my nails on it doesn’t work like it isn’t my name is not stick and once I saw this video I tried it and oh my god they don’t come off like like really easy it doesn’t come off super easy like like I have to make sure you get them something to talk make them come off this on my God thank you 😉☺️☺️

Or you can use builder gel or acrylic and do infills like the salon. Press ons arent any different than half covers.. i wish i would do all that for 3wks especially considering primer weakens the nails

Yall this works but if your planning to take them off then have proper tools or wait for them to come off because i took mine of by pulling them off and they were so stuck that it hurt and ripped off layers of the top of my nails and made my pinky bleed a little so if you do do this then be careful and take care of your nails
I think the step I'm missing is dehydrating with alcohol. I'll definitely this try!

Ok , can you tell me why my real nails gets real bad after taking off the press on , and jelly stick on is very hard to get off ,I soaked them and take them off , but leave my nails looking real bad , I used to use nail glue , that kills my nails , so 8 try press on nails but find that hard to get the glue off , now I’m thinking oh going to wrap nails , but I really love the press on nails , HELP !!

trust me... this does not work! I tried this exact thing like five times, however, I could not remove the nail tab as it left a mark on my nail

It actually can help with extra adhesion! I also like them because they work as a bit of a barrier with the nail glue and the press on so your natural nail is even less likely to get damaged if a nail pops off

Gel clear polish can be used that way, then cured under UV light. However, that is not the case with regular clear polish. There are videos using clear gel polish as glue. Look it up. I think it only works for opaque and clear nails.
Lol no. Not at all. Because it's not glue. It won't last. Just get the glue. I just watched this and did mine and they turned out awesome. For reference, I got a relatively cheap glue. It's kiss brush on glue.

Baby you should try just a drop of glue on your nail and a drop of glue on the press on itself. I promise you it will cover your entire fingernail it won't be all over the place your fingers won't be stuck together please just trust me a lot of times less is way more.

It was prolly the removing the shine just don't over do it everybody different mayb do u don't apply all that pressure but this odds are healthier than going to nail shop they some times use illegal stuff as the powder dental acrylic or some mess lol I used be a nail tech and didn't use illegal harmful state boarded banned substances often the powder anf liquid is in a unlabeled bottle it's kinda scary how much we have or try to trust ppl

This truly works! I am hooked on press on’s now. I tried this method and went to CDMX for a week, came back home and had to use a glue remover to get them off. Don’t sleep on the prep and also don’t skip out on the sticky tab. I’m now on my next set and they are even more secure than the first as I’m getting the method down. Best glues are Nailene, IBD and I really like static. KISS works but I find it can be a bit messy. I like how thick static glue is so it doesn’t get everywhere. The nail tabs also work on clear/nude nails and don’t show through just make sure the tab lays flat.

How long does the adhesive nail tape last? Only the nail tape and not the glue. I only want to use it in the weekend bc our school dont allow nails like these. So i wanted to know how long it stays
You should be able to soak them off at any point. I fill a bowl with hot water, dish soap, and any kind of oil and let my hands soak for five mins. Then I use the little wooden cuticle stick that comes in a lot of press on nail sets to start loosening them from the bottom and sides. I gently keep prying up while soaking and they come off.
adhesive tape easily take off fake nails especially when you unknowingly bump your nails to surfaces sometime when scratching your head can be off😂😢

I personally think young nails is the best primer, but for a more affordable but good option I’d go with Mia secrets

The step these videos always forget to mention is "don't you fking dare touch anything or do anything outside of breathe on these nails" bc I have literally superglued fake nails to my fingers and they STILL fall off

For me it works only with gel (as the glue). I have tried everything and it didn't work for me but gel does it every time. Of course the prep of the nail is really important and if its not done wright nothing will work. So push and cut the cuticles, file abit your nail to roughen it up, do your dehydrator (if your nail is oily nothing will stick so if you dont have it use alcohol), primer and base. File the inside of the fake nail (its best if you do this step in the begining so its easyer) and put the gel. Its important to dont overflow because the cleaning up sucks. So i think thats the best way and if done right lasts till you take it off ❤
