Excellent video Chris, beautifully done! Really enjoyed every aspect of it. Got me emotional as it’s hard for me to describe sometimes how disappearing into paint can make everything better. Perfectly said! Sometimes you just got to leave it all in the lines. Beautiful work, thank you! 💚
Loved this! Wish I could like it thrice! Lighting is perfect for the piece and the narrative. When I talk to people about the actual process, I can't help but describe the brush and paint as sentient beings that I work to have a relationship with. They have minds of their own and react in direct relation to where I am mentally and emotionally when I come to the project. First hard learned lesson for me was that I cannot stripe while angry. It's like the brush rejects my efforts and the paint refuses to respond positively. My Husband used to tell me that part of the reason my cooking tasted so good was because I cooked with all my love for my family in it and it made the food taste even better. Turns out I can tell that difference in my striping as well - If I'm having fun, excited, enjoying myself and focusing on the love I have for my project, the work is naturally quicker, the strokes more fluid, less shaking in hands, and the end result just looks better. If I stripe irritated, stressed, frustrated or feeling pressured to perform, it's the exact opposite in nearly every way. Weird the way that works, but also very very cool.
@@lisaours7869 I’ve learned over the years that my line work says the things about me that I won’t tell you. It’s easy for me to see that it is the same for others.
