Aloha cupcakes, I'm Chris Blohme. Pinstriping, custom painting and other car related art is my main gig. Shooting videos and hunting ghosts is my second. I do a lot of study for any of the things I work with and around and a big part of this channel is to share what I learn along the way with the events that help me learn it.
Stay moist my friends.

Spraying clear coat with a camera mounted on it. Narrated by Blohme
I had fun making this. It's not for any purpose other than to test the camera mount. I will be using this for the "How to" videos that are coming up. For now I had to play with the new thing I built.

I'm getting closer to the detailed how to videos, but I needed to think this part though a bit before I shot any videos.

Nice!!!
The graphics came out defiantly better than usual. I’m hoping the clear coat sticks ok.
So far the first coat has been ok.
@@Blohme_official you’re a perfectionist it’s fine. I hope it lives up to your expectations. I’m sure it will mine. You are the best ! Just accept it! Honestly, the eyeball is perfect and adaptation a evolution or a Elvislution to go with this stray cat song of the original flying eyeball or the third eye seeing things other dimensions
Подскажите какой рисунок сделать на чисто белом сноуборде? И как сохранить рисунок на сноуборде во время катания зимой
Great song choice
It’s been on my mind this week. So it needed to get used.
Awsome words sir! Awsome piece!
Thanks. This one is pretty special.
Individual videos would be great.
If the election defines you, you definitely need to do something else!
I want to learn how to have time and money to do the thing. Somehow I never have both?
@@whitechris720 maybe there is a way to make money by doing the thing.
This is so cool!
Damn even better than before
@@The_Bearded_B thank you. It took some work for sure.

@@Unkownsector they range from 200-500 depending on the ingredients. Gold and silver get used quite a bit around here. Most of the time they are under 300

@@The_Bearded_B it has something special going for it.
Absolutely 💯😁
It's so cute!
@@justicerussell96 super extra fancy and cute.
Challenge accepted: Honestly, I would love to see a video or a couple videos that address the burning question: Technique and brush consistency when striping on circular, curved, and other forms of not flat surfaces - HOW and WHAT to do? Let's face it, most of us start on flat surfaces and when we make the jump to a hub cap, or a bowling pin, or a car (or a Christmas ornament) The brush behaves entirely differently and our hands have to do all these new things and stuff to get the paint to go on properly. Very few videos out there are actually explaining to beginners what they need to change or modify when they work on the surface of the curve. I know when I started on curved surfaces there was a learning curve that truly created bumfuzzlement and consternation. Cheers!
I'll go over it. I think you are right as it's something that they don't really understand how to communicate it.
I'm really looking forward to playing around with the UV reactive paints. I appreciate this video topic. Burnout has been a struggle for me in most endeavors I've undertaken through the years. I worked in the mental health industry for quite awhile and it truly was honorable work, but it took pieces of my soul. Pinstriping, the act of doing it, that is always something that keeps me striving and pushing to improve technique or learn how another striper did a specific stroke etc. The designing aspect is where burnout smacks me around. It's like composing music. There are only so many variations and if I'm not careful, after about a dozen designs, they all start to look the same. LOL Then the challenge becomes where do I get a fresh perspective and then I'm on the quest to find new inspirations. I think that is the difference between doing this vs anything I've ever done before. At least with this, as you said, I am able to find the next challenge to level up with a lot easier - technique, new brushes, different brands of paint even as well as seeking out new vistas that provide design revitalization. Thanks for sharing. LOVE the UV stuff!
I may not have quit music had I understood this earlier. It's something we all need to talk about but seldom have the right space or the words to do it.
Works well for my attention deficit look sparkly ! ADLS got me again !
@@randallthelovehandel ha ha ha ha ha ha. Excellent.
You should paint the bottom of the board so that skateboarders can buy them :-). It's crazy cool that you can keep a straight line by hand. I would so suck at that.

@@charlesturgeon2101 I’m down.
Holy shit that’s impressive. Exactly like painting that stripe on the side of a car, you got the same grip and brush even
@@GalaxyNewsRadio_ that’s the job. I started this gig years ago doing cars and bikes.

I struggle with line thickness not being uniform, making both sides look the same , when I create my own designs , shut just looks weird , too pointy , to straight and just blah I have learned a lot from you and I like your teaching style
@@Unkownsector I’ll do my best to help with that.
We all want color changing glitter!!!
Chris 1. If I use alpha one enamel to mix peanut butter and I go with 50% blue and 50% orange to make the peanut butter color and I use a F 22 finesse stencil is the presidency just another Hollywood production? 2. If I use a DeVillbis paint gun for primer and A Sata gun for base and an Iwata for the clear coat will all paint reps still hate me? 3. If I go to the paint store to ask for the proper applicator of the dry flake, and they sell me Dandruff shampoo. Should I use the shampoo? 4. If I get lost in the desert again, and find myself consuming peyote buttons, wait a minute where the fuck am I? 5 would you consider doing a free hand scroll practice to amnesia Ganja White Knight ?
@@randallthelovehandel you know these are going to at least be in a couple of shorts now.
@@Blohme_official Misty ganja white night. You’re pretty funny when you’re sarcastic just so you know maybe the artistic expression could be the secret of life through death, and not trying to conquer it

What does that mean? I like the way I could use it with different tones and such. But before I run off saying it the wrong way, what did you mean by that?
Chris I'm very much looking forward to these series of videos! Think you could rattle can a panel? I don't have any spray guns or airbrush. Again thank you for what you do!

Which one? The 2.5K or the Pocket? I had to shoot a movie on the 2.5K once right when it came out, and the thing got so hot to the touch you had to wear Setwear Hot Hands Gloves to move it around and change SSDs in it.
