    Well Tim, after viewing all three 40 Ford finished builds I think I have to change my original order of preference. Originally I had Panel Van 1, Gasser 2 & Chopped at 3.
    I love them all very much, great work on all three builds, but my sequence choice now is Chopped at 1, Panel Van at 2 and Gasser at 3. Cheers, Greg.

    That kit you used for the engine actually builds into a very nice box stock high or low boy model car. I built mine as the high boy but with the low boy motor option the lowboy motor is the huge blower and the high boy is no blower and I feel like the high boy should have the big tall blower motor just my opinion it looks good but damn that kit makes a beautiful 29 ford roadster box stock build I did both low boy and high boy and you get a extra frame and parts with the kit as well for other parts bin hot rod or rat rod builds great doner kits and stock build kits I love it. But damn your rat rod is freaking beautiful. Ease do video on how to cut the plastic clear windows that comes with model car kits for fitting inside chip tops please I tried cutting a few extra windows I had and they all spider web cracked or shattered no matter which way I tried it all messed up so please do video on cutting windshields and glass for these model car kits thanks

    Nice Job! Question, if you don't mind. I'm returning to the hobby after a very, very long hiatus and still pretty far down on the learning curve of new stuff. What did you use for the Indian Blanket and how did you make it look worn and crumpled? I'm working on a 1934 Ford Pickup and want to use a blanket to partially cover the seat and back rest. I've already cut a portion of the seat out and built seat springs to show through, but I haven't figured out about a blanket; real cloth, decal, etc.? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    • @THROTTLEPOWER
      @THROTTLEPOWER  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so glad you liked it. Feel free to ask anything you want and I'll try to help you out.... All that is is a picture of a blanket from the internet (sized down to the size I wanted) printed out onto a sheet of paper. Then I cut it out, and wadded it up numerous times to get the worn look then glued it onto the seat with super glue. Several guys have been wanting me to do a video on the blanket (since I showed a different blanket in a video the other week) so I might do one for this coming week. Hope that helps you out. Anything else, just ask! 😉👍

    • @jtodora
      @jtodora 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@THROTTLEPOWER Thanks. I had already saved a bunch of blanket pictures from online so I was on the right track. I just didn't know if I should use printable water slid decal paper, regular paper or if there might be some actual cloth available. I can see how regular paper might be better to show wear and crinkle. I want to also try using something similar for the headliner and have a corner of it hanging down. Thank you again. I really appreciate it!!!

    • @THROTTLEPOWER
      @THROTTLEPOWER  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jtodora Yep, go with regular paper from your printer. I just keep working it, working it, and working it until it's ready to tear/fall apart. Sometimes the tear works out good as I can use that a for an over lap. The headliner will work just like the seat. I covered the door panels on my red Foose truck build. You can see that in a vid I posted the other week. Let me know how it works out for you.
