Right, not my thing but i think it is great to see how his crew is attempting to save as much as possible and doing what they are with it! I think it is fantastic!
The Schroll coup is one of my favorites. It's BITCHIN!! And it's a tribute to Larry, for saving all those great cars. I think he probably had visions of doing this kind of restoration on all of them, but he became more interested in the hunt. Wishing a Happy and Prosperous New Year, Matt, Kate, Mike, Steve, Pops, Moon and all of your families! THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
Good to see a period correct example from the late 50s in the East Coast style, (channeled, but not chopped), now back on the road! Happy you are keeping it true to the original vibe for two reasons: first, I had the exact '32 model coupe many years ago as a kid, and two, I've had the same Olds/Cad- LaSalle combo. in my '36 cpe, from that time period (@ 1960)! Does my old heart good to see your generation enthused about the Old School days. Keep the vibe alive. Best to you and the crew in the New Year!
Looks awesome! Thanks for bringing another forgotten historic hot rod back to life on the streets (and for documenting it for us to watch). Love the channel, Matt.
WOW! What a rebirth! And to see it all condensed to 30 minutes. I remember when you acquired the Schroll Coupe. It didn't look like much, but it came to the right place to be rebuilt and rebuilt right. Now it is a Hot Rodder's dream! You guys are the best!
Because it took place over so many videos it is easy to forget how much work goes into a perfectly shitty restoration. so much time and effort are spent on things that most people will never see. Thanks for putting that video together it was eye opening. Happy New Year
Thank you for this amazing channel. My father would've loved this channel. He was a hot rodder from the late fifties too the early sixties. He attended Vale tech in Blairsville Pa and worked as a mechanic and body man for his entire life. Your channel revives many of his hot rod stories of the past.
I don’t know how I’m just finding this channel but it’s awesome! Badass work bringing that 5 window back to life. It’s also cool that you’re local to me
The term "Hot rod" gets bantered around these days on all sorts of cars , this car however is epitome of that , absolutely spot on, fantastic rebirth !
From your northern neighbors, thanks for another great year with the Iron Trap Garage ! All the best in the new year, keep on preserving history and keeping it CQQL !
Thank you for sharing the Schroll Coupe story and all the super content in 2023. Matt and guys: Work safe and smart out there, especially when scoring cool stuff in very sketchy places. Press on!
Bought back some memories. After a few summers, test drives, highlight upgrades to run smoother, safer, faster. Happy holidays Matt, Mike, Steve and families.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE 💕 THAT YOU KEPT THE OLD HOT ROD FRAME!!! It's really a cool piece of history. Plus, the work was already done for you back in the '50's. Just take it apart, clean, reinforce the weak points, and bam! A cool REAL '50's built hot rod, no imitations here! Great job and work on saving this special piece of history, it's very appreciated 👍.
I reallly like what you have done to rescue the early hotrod ,with your skills you have I believe completed the vision of the original owner that they didn't have the skill or technology to finish to such a fine result! Love it!
Hey Matt, it was a lot of fun to watch this whole process again. I enjoyed it the first time, but this was even more fun! And it was also pretty neat to see the shop again without the top floor addition! You've done such great improvements over the years!!!
LOVE the work you did on the Schroll 5-window coupe! It truly is an original from back in the day, when the best builders really sweated the details. The only thing I'd like to see is see how it would look raised slightly in the rear to give it a bit of rake...??
Thank you for resurrecting and preserving an important piece of our American culture. This compilation was very enjoyable to watch on a lazy new years eve.
Wishing everybody and their families at Iron Trap Garage a Happy New Year ! Looking forward to the new year seeing what you may find and save from the crusher !
The Schroll Coupe turned out to be one of the best examples of a period-correct "hot rod" still alive today. The only parts that are not authentic are the upgrades you did in the name of safety. Most hot rods from this period are super-sketchy when it comes to secure welding, proper bracing, and the use of adequately designed materials in the construction and modifications to the chassis... We didn't always pay a lot of attention to those little details. I always hated those deep-dish mid-1950s steering wheels, but they were extremely popular back in those days. This old classic is a fantastic testimony to your shop's skills and attention to detail in bringing these old warriors in out of the cold and the rust of oblivion, and making sure they will be around for future generations to look over and see the early days of the sport with some of its warts still exposed...
Damn that looks good. I remember back in the day; tge CHP had blocks of wood the suze of a pack of cigarettes on a stick. They used it to check the ride height on lowered cars
This is my first time commenting. I have loved your channel from the beginning and probably seen your videos 1000 times! I love what you do and especially, this car. A couple days ago I had my 72nd birthday, I grew up as a young boy on the East Coast. Now live in Santa Cruz, thank God. I love that you get all around these United States and have so many customers around the world. Your passion for these cars, and your honesty have made you the success that you deserve. The view as you know are your friends and family neighbors. on this eve of 2024 and these troubled times around the world. I think God for you and the rest but your shows give me so that I can help others too! There really is a God that’s sometimes hard to understand. He really does love us all!
It would be sooo cool to take a ride in those old outside rumble bench seats! They seem very rare now, wish that there were more of them in the world. Great Little Hot Rod you got! Thanks for the video 📸.
When you drove through the water puddle, it made me remember why I gave up driving with exposed tires. It's looks soo cool when someone else does it, though.
This is amazing and I can’t believe this doesn’t have more views. I love the original patina and the fact that it’s so period correct. This is the kind of thing I want to support (& do myself!) on this planet. Thank you
I have the same header kit on my 28 A roadster. Its a high boy, not channeled, with a hot flatty a 39 trans, and a 40 rearend. I also have an original Moredrop front axle. I met Marty a few years ago when they were in business. I was having a 33 Dodge axle done. When he retired he couldn't find anyone interested in taking over the business. That was too bad.
After all this time watching the transformation of bringing this car back it's still one of my favorites in your garage it's something about this 32 with those baby moons and white walls and its history she is just an absolute beauty
You (Boyertown/Pottstown) are an hour away from me. Super stoked to see a channel like this that close to me. Awesome looking car and gorgeous interior.
I absolutely love this car. Matt is a BA he really knows what he doing and knows those out hot rods. Love your videos keep on saving them and I’ll keep watching.
That beautiful car seemed to be grinning with excitement as it was getting pulled out of the barn, like it new good things were going to happen. Great job. Love the interior.
Hey Matt, This was a great review of the process of bringing an old Hot Rod back to life. I remember the original videos you used to put this one together. Really enjoyable to see it all again. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Take Care
Very Very cool car. You've had this one on your channel a long time now, and it's wonderful to see all of that hard work pay off. Congrats and have a great 2024!
Larry would be proud, and amazed! at what you’ve done with his car. Great editing job, seems hard to believe that I saw most of those episodes 😂. Keep up the great work IronTrap!
Would like to see the old Olds engine running. Lots of torque. Twist a old Ford frame. Lots and lots of work. Takes an ambitious young man . Million dollars worth of labor and just a thousand more dollars. Keep after it.
I’m a 71 year old car guy and old hot rodder, I love that there are younger guys keeping the traditions alive. cheers!!
Right, not my thing but i think it is great to see how his crew is attempting to save as much as possible and doing what they are with it! I think it is fantastic!
Thank you for the years of amazing episodes, and I wish you, Kate, Mike, Steve, Moon and everyone else in the Iron Trap family an amazing 2024.
is the 32 ford five wind for sale
What a resurrection, you’ve done the car justice. It looks like a time capsule. Perfect way to round out 2023! All the best in 2024!!
Thanks for watching!
The Schroll coup is one of my favorites. It's BITCHIN!!

The EXACT one???
So, are you telling us- Those welds are Yours !??
Looks awesome! Thanks for bringing another forgotten historic hot rod back to life on the streets (and for documenting it for us to watch). Love the channel, Matt.
Great job , I love that car !!
Thanks for following along!
That is one fantastic true hotrod! Best wishes from the Netherlands for 2024 to all of you!
I love seeing all the progress in a single episode!
Watching this again I’m reminded of how good your metalworking skills have become in the past years.
Thanks! Takes time and practice!
You did right by Larry and the car itself. Right on, Matt and crew.
WOW! What a rebirth! And to see it all condensed to 30 minutes. I remember when you acquired the Schroll Coupe. It didn't look like much, but it came to the right place to be rebuilt and rebuilt right. Now it is a Hot Rodder's dream! You guys are the best!

This 32 is absolutely beautiful. Probably one of the coolest and nostalgic builds I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing. 🇺🇲
I forgot how much content you did for this car. It's was such a big project of love.
I'm from the UK, but boy, I would love to drive this gorgeous hot rod to work and watch those Jaws drop 😊
You guys have the best content of its type on the tube. Thanks for sharing your skills and adventures with us!
Thanks for watching!

Same here, just Subscribed. Great re-build of a period correct original with a little extra flare in the interior for creature comforts.⚒️
so many of the hot rod pioneers have left us. they were ambitious in their curating of this history
Builds like this are what drew me to ITG. What an outstanding resurrection. I'm sure Larry approves.
Very cool build Larry would approve no doubt
The term "Hot rod" gets bantered around these days on all sorts of cars , this car however is epitome of that , absolutely spot on, fantastic rebirth !

Our history and culture is safe and looking sweet as ever.keep in it gnarly .much love from england

Thanks, you too!
You did an amazing job with the patina
Wow. Just wow. This is amazing work you're doing.
Thank you very much!

Definitely a great journey on this one Matt thanks for sharing it with us!!!
Great job on this Matt
Awesome! I love what you're doing with keeping the old school hot rods alive !!
Awesome build, so cool you put this hot rod back on the street.
This is my absolute favorite car ,was lucky enough to see it in person at wheels of time car show!!
Pretty Badass❤ Maybe put a small Iron Trap logo on it somewhere. Nothing too obnoxious just a little signature of who did the work.
What a great video, from the dead back to life, looks and sounds great
Of all the builds I've watched y'all do, the Schroll coupe is my favorite! The very definition of a '50's "home built" hot rod.
Luv the way you keep the soul and history of the car !
More please, I’m thinking paint the firewall pretty, pinstripe , and clear coat, the paint is perfect
I'd have to think Larry's looking down, smiling, and nodding "YES" in approval.

Love this, resurrecting old rods instead of just complete redesign is very cool! Great job!
Thank you for resurrecting and preserving an important piece of our American culture.
This compilation was very enjoyable to watch on a lazy new years eve.
Our pleasure!
Wishing everybody and their families at Iron Trap Garage a Happy New Year ! Looking forward to the new year seeing what you may find and save from the crusher !
The tow car in the pic is a '54 Lincoln Capri, I had a '54 Lincoln Capri when I was a young man, was a pretty good hot rod in it's day!

The amount of fab work you put into one of these is really cool to see. Love this car
Great idea on doing a build montage. Just amazing how much work went into this car to get it on the road! Love it! 😎👍
Spot on , real hot rod..we have a 31 5 window old school....great that you brought the 32 back to life...
It would be sooo cool to take a ride in those old outside rumble bench seats! They seem very rare now, wish that there were more of them in the world. Great Little Hot Rod you got! Thanks for the video 📸.

Matt you need to let come visit you one of these days and go for a cruise in that car. I love that body style.
She looks great, especially since you kept the paint rough. All the best for the new year.
It's nice to see young guys with such creative, mechanical talent !

Love the car! Everything is a work in progress that’s life and hot rods I think.
Green and white interior looks great. If it was mine I'd give it a kelly green or hunter green paint job with white pin striping.
good show thanks love watching the old hotrods rolling down the highway 😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it
You (Boyertown/Pottstown) are an hour away from me. Super stoked to see a channel like this that close to me. Awesome looking car and gorgeous interior.
