    I'm stoked that this channel exists and I get to see a little "behind the scenes" with the builders whose work I've admired for so long. I have a soft spot for hot rods and customs. Thanks for going to all this effort to document and share the hobby for those of us who are stuck behind our workbenches!

    I love this hobby so much I'm 30 been modeling off and on since I was 10 in the off season of stock car racing I race dirt and asphalt latemodels and ump modifieds in the usmts modified series. Modeling makes me smile seeing these amazing paint jobs and builds and how talented ppl really are and what they can scratch build out of their imagination it's crazzy what ppl can build and make. I have a book from 80s called how to build a asphalt and dirt latemodel from ground up in your own shop and use that to build my custom models as a guideline for measurements and shapes as a good consistent base to start from and of course the book is for building real race cars not model cars so I just scale everything down and out of the book and a lot of the procedures like on how you make the body and fold the body and the roll cage and the tubing for the chassis and stuff is very similar to model cars except it's just plastic instead of metal

    I truly hope you are planning on showing your video of the awards presentation at the NNL #40 from 2019. A lot of model car history was presented there.

    • @ModelCarMuse
      @ModelCarMuse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Indeed, that was an amazing evening! We've already used some of that evening's footage in our video with Steve Hinson. As we mention in this channel's introductory video, the story of the NNL is in the production plan, so stay tuned.
