Someone may have mentioned this already. The app data folder is hidden by default in win 10. Be sure to allow view hidden folders in the view tab at the top of the file explorer window.

So I've been playing this for the past couple of weeks, and I'm really enjoying it. Love all the new stuff in it, especially the Chucks. I was telling Corey and Retro last day that I haven't made you a dedicated lvl in a couple of years (wanted to give you time to recoop from that last one😂) . My favorite mario game would really have to be crowned to Mari0: AE, Smbx2(yes it is out already or at least beta 4) and Power Star Frenzy
While i've only played SMBX2, it is one of the best fangames i've seen period.

For the viewers of the tutorial at the beginning of this video: The appdata folder is hidden by Windows by default. If you can't or don't want to, find-out how to make your appdata folder visible, on the search bar on your PC (which it's location may differ based on your PC's OS), type-in %appdata%, and hit enter. You SHOULD be instantly brought to the appdata folder upon submitting that command into the search bar. I've only done this on Windows 7 I believe. And I know Windows 10 makes it even harder to make your appdata folder visible.

I like how not long after you uploaded this video it got an update not too long after. I hope it at some point gets an english translation, but probably won't be for a while since it's still pretty much a beta. I'm still having a blast with it though!

Favourite fan game is gonna be a tie for me : Multiverse, Unimaker (soon to be Unistudio) and Flashback. I kind of like X but my main issue is it looks like a retro Mario but there's no "pause" when losing a power-up which for some reason throws me off because of the retro look. I still like to give it some plays once in a while, and the fact there's so many level packs is a huge bonus so I'd say it comes second just after the three ties I just mentioned :)

I don't remember the name of it specifically. But there was this old Flash Game (pretty sure, though it may have been Director-made) that was an exact replica of classic Super Mario Bros. There were several classic Nintendo characters you could play as. You could play as like the Contra dudes, or Simon, or Samus, Mario of course, and I feel like there was another character or two as well, but it was so long ago. If you find it, you'd probably want to play through as each of the characters, because they all interacted with the world a little differently.
Contra Dude with fire-flower was basically OP but practically useless before you got any powerups, Simon had a double jump, and... well, uh... It's been so long I forgot the other parts of it. But I remember having TONS of fun playing through the game long form (no warps) at least twice with each character, yes including Mario. ;)

My favorite fangame [one that i can actually play] would have to be Super Mario Construct. It's the best. It has almost everything from SMW and custom items. While it may lack having the most OP thing in SMW, the cape but to make up for it, it also has Super Leaf, Ice Flower, Penguin Suit, Superball Flower, Cloud Flower, etc. So yeah easily a 100/10

I was playing SMMWE a few minutes ago, but I'm having a hard time controlling Mario. Can I use the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for the game? Also, I can't put the game into full screen.
smm world engine is my favorate mario game
My only gripe about this so far is that there's no customizing controls, at least not in the build I have... Using the arrow keys to jump and run is rally awkward... I'm also working on a neat little You vs. Boo homage of sorts... And considering there's no subarea setting (yet), I doubt any pipes are enterable.

I like that Paper Bowser Mario fangame, it took the idea of the Bowser levels that came up between chapters in TTYD, and made it into a full game. There are two of them last I checked (if memory serves right), years ago, and it even had a secret Minus World challenge. Which younger me beat, only to once again, deny Paper Bowser of happiness, as both the main endgame and the endgame of Minus World in it, resulted in Bowser getting destroyed by the Mario Bros. Poor guy cannot catch a break... He never really gets a happy end for him.
[spoilers of Bowser's Inside Story below, be warned]
Even with his non-paper universe counterpart doesn't get an actual happy end in Bowser's Inside Story. The game just ends with Bowser getting defeated by the Mario Bros during the ending credits. After the ending credits, Starlow (I think their name was) visits Bowser while he's trying to recover from the injuries he suffered during the ending credits, and I think he got a cake, but I don't see that as fully a happy ending for the poor guy, as he's still hurt at the end of the game... I think even Malon and Talon from Zelda Ocarina of Time shares my sympathy for Bowser, as I believe both of them are wearing accessories themed of Bowser. Also, the fact that the Mario canon is known in Hyrule during the events of Zelda OoT (as when visiting Hyrule Castle to meet Zelda, the original N64 version had paintings of characters from the Mario canon), is plain weird. Back in the N64 era, we did not have a Smash Bros game that used the actual characters from their respective franchises. Smash 64's roster is literally just some kid's toys that they are using to have pretend battles, as we can even see from the Smash 64's opening scene. It isn't till later Smash Bros games where the actual Nintendo characters are taking part in the fight. As seen with the Smash Bros Invite letters newcomers got.
