If you save your oblivion cards for the first boss you can remove his buildings and weaken him if your having trouble.

you can also just build around the 3x3 area surrounding the campsite and prevent any palaces from spawning at all.

You don't have to kill the boss to keep 100% of the loot.You can just retreat while the character is standing on the campfire to keep 100%.

If you retreat while at base, you can leave with 100%

Tip, you can notice when you can safely leave because the icon becomes highlighted and animated. Also, you can hold down the button until some gears appear, and it'll automatically prompt the safe retreat next time it is available (you can still choose to stay looping if you prefer at that point)

holding down the escape button will auto trigger so you don't miss the exit

@@ImXenaroth true but this is a tutorial video, some people may have not paid attention or understood the game tutorial (it isn't that great) and the info in this tutorial was a little incorrect, and someone correctly pointed that out.

regen is active even during fights. vampirism + regen ring with counter that heals you can make you very strong due to the sustain.

The swamp/vampire combo completely went over my head. Definitely gonna use that one.

a point to make for beacon why you would want to make loops faster is to avoid multiple heavy spawns firm spiders or grove at early loops ,snce you will go faster less will have spawned since they spawn each day and it will make for easier encounter until you are ready to face more,it is mostly useful for the rogue though...i will admit

about BEACONS, put it around your camp, that way there will be no space for the lich palace when spawns, also, the bosses dont gain the atk speed

Regen works even in combat, it's not obsolete if the path is full

This really needs an update on the video, really misleading advice for beginners in the video.

I figured that vampirism scales with your damage. Where as regen in my experience tends to be quicky outpaced by enemies damage.

@@victorfeagins3787 Well as your damage scales with gear, so does the regen stat on higher gear, still figuring things out myself though

@@Thorkahn True but consider all the things that increase damage per sec i.e attack speed, magic damage, damage. That effects vampirism. Though I will say a little regen is good to keep you topped off in-between battles.

I agree with Jon. I continue to grab pieces with increasingly better regen and it works pretty damn good. I grab at least a tiny tiny bit of vamp because I think regardless of the calculation it gives at least 1 hp per attack. Basically any tiny percent of vamp gives 1 hp per- whatever your attack speed is

you can also make a hungry grove by connecting it directly to another blood grove

a mansion can ransack 3 villages but not diagonal

you dont have to keel the boss. just click ands hold on the retreat button and it will auto trigger retreat next time youre on camp fire so you keep 100%. it talks about this in tutorial

Does spider tile give you more cards when you slay the spiders? A bit confused here.

yes, it's the best way to get a lot of cards really quickly. :)

Actually no. What happens is that the spiders spawns quickly(1/day), so you get a lot of spiders to fight, and they are weak, so you end up with more cards just because you're defeating more enemies.

@@stefano000 It's a trait you can get randomly when playing the rogue. It's a beast that normally spawns in the grove but now has a 75% chance to come to your aid. .
