I'm about 18 hours into the game and still learning each time I play it. I followed some of the tips in this video, and straight away had my best run ever. The info about the gear, and which stats to focus (and when) was priceless. Thanks.
As he said, with a flat heal always effective, regen is very valuable early. But once you reach loop 6 or so the scaling heal from vampirism starts to out weigh it. I strongly recommend transitioning into this stat when you can on the warrior.
Thanks for the tips, just started this on Game Pass. Something to add is that putting vampires next to swamps makes their vampirism work against them 😈
Thank you so much I’m on Switch and having trouble figuring out how to beat the boss. Thought you had to keep placing all the cards to progress. On switch the deck building isn’t explained very well and has 4 different levels I guess it’s what deck for what chapter I thought it was the deck progresses as you level your hero. Back to the loop Now.

I found the treasury card not that great because it often meant that i held off building meadow until i draw one of those. Sometimes i got the first one on loop 4 or later. So waiting for a treasury really stagnated my building progress
Most importantly the Treasury only adds loot. No combat stats, no survival. The best thing it does is flooding you a single time with items. Although it is a very decent card for resource gathering if you are just after loot runs.
@@Ic0nGaming Another erason why i shy away from them (and skeletons) is that the gargoyles are easy to kill early on. But tend to get increasingly more dangerous at later loops. Their damage and defense looks to scale more than monsters with really weak base stats. Like ratwolves or spiders.
The game is out on the smartphone and i have had a lot of fun with it so far, but just now I noticed that magic damage is not a part of my statuses, do u have to unlock it with a building or something else?
Finally a guide that doesn’t sound like the maker is on amphetamine
Finally somebody who has a similar problem with a lot of other content creators way of speaking :D

Just started Loop Hero, 3 year old video, still great content
sir, you are a blessing, the gameplay became smooth after listening to your tips

Btw great guide intelligently conveyed! Thank you so much!
4:15 I read that the Beacon effects don't work on bosses, meaning only you get the attack speed boost. I pop down beacons near camp.
just got this game today wish me luck guys✌️
Me too
Just started on Switch. Have unlocked a few buildings. Loving it so far. This was a good video. Thanks!
Dude your video was awesome. I'm a beginner and it helped alot
Did you know you can right click a weapon or item to lock it so that it doesn't get destroyed?
How to do it on iPad?

Great video. I like how you explained things and your general vibe.

Great guide bud. Nice progression into the basics not just a bunch of "did you know this" thrown in randomly.
Good tutorial. Nothing to add, so just commenting to feed the algorithm.
Thanks! =)
I generally hate commenting if I have nothing of value to say, but TH-cam seems to reward it, and this video definitely deserves a wider audience.

Magic Damage has been patched out of the game afaik. The video is from an old version ;)
@@Ic0nGaming Oh that makes sense, it's been a while since i saw the updates it had, thank u!
nice video, what is magic damage ? i didnt found anything written as "magic dmg" on any weapons.
Im new to the game but I'm pretty sure magic damage is now called "pure damage"
It's true damage, can't be reduced.
Very helpful stuff, much obliged.
Thanks mate!
Very good video, thank you
It's interesting how you build the world and have nearly complete control and yet you can lose so easily.
Thanks for the tip i just start playing it on my switch really addicted game can't put it down 😹
My weapon / gear seems to unequip or get teplaced on its own if I afk after the boss is dead

This game is a deck builder. What else is it though? Giant math problem?
Ty🎉
There is no way you are not going to play this game in a series
I feel quite dared, y'know? :D
