      thnaks and ya the color on this one is pretty sweet . I was actually tryin gto get the violet purple one but they were all out of stock on those and my favorite color is blue and my sife's is this turquoise color which she really like so I got this one and I was not disappointed in it at all.
      and this is my wifes favorite guitar I own as well now lol!

    I just got a custom24 in turquoise just like that, and my partner says it is her favourite of my guitars now.

      awsome! and it is a great guitar I love mine and it is my wife's favorite out of all my guitars as it is her favorite color too.
      PRS knocked it out of the park with these guitars so much so I bought 2 as I have another one in charoal grey as well.
      thanks for watching and the great comment.

    What a killer color and top. Gorgeous! what is the neck profile ?

    • @Rocktalk101

      ya it is a pretty awsome color and top for sure. IT has a wide thin neck profile from the specs say and i would agree with that as well.

    Would you recommend this guitar or the PRs Se Ce 24? Is the extra price for this guitar worth it?

    • @Rocktalk101
      @Rocktalk101  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well I would definitely recommend this guitar as I love it so much I bought 2.
      With that being said I have never played the CE-24 but there are a few differences which is why the custom 24 is a little more.
      those being quilt top vs flame top which the quilt top is also on the head stock on the custom and the CE is not. The custom has binding one the body neck and head stock which the CE 24 does not.
      the pick up switches are in different places as well so basically the custom 24 has more bells and whistles and is a more highly speced out guitar and to answer you question the Custom 24 is well worth the price especially if you buy one before the end of the year from sweetwater as you will save $200 bucks right now.
      BUt I wll also say I do not think you can go wrong with either one as PRS makes great guitars and if you are on a budget and you like how the CE is set up with the switch postion then I think it is a win either way you go.
      I think it boils down to what you like more in the way of looks, specs, and were the pick up switch is located at for me I really am not a fan of that switch being so far back on the CE24 so that is another reason I like the custom 24 a little better.
      Hope that helps a little.

    I don't know why, but my PRS custom 24 quilt has a particularly high chord pitch after getting it. Have you ever experienced such a situation?😢

    • @Rocktalk101
      @Rocktalk101  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have not and not sure what you mean by a high cord pitch?
      do you mean when hitting a chord you are getting a high pitch sound when doing so?
      and is it only on certain chords?
      The first thing I always do when I get a new guitar is do a good set up on it.
      make sure the pick ups are set right and so on,
      all of this can effect the sounds that come out and that is were I would start to trouble shoot the situation if it was me.

    Imagine how much will Fender and Gibson charge for this same quality, craftsmanship and materials. PRS is literally overkilled.

    • @Rocktalk101

      Y ain my opinion PRS is knocking it out of the park with there guitars.
      Never been a fan of Fender guitars and Gibson well they are so over priced and the QC still sucks with gibson.
      At least with Fender there QC seems good.
      Schecter is another guitar company that blows Fender and Gibson away as well.
      thanks for watching and the comment.

      @@Rocktalk101 I'm with you on the Fenders. I've had a Mexican, a USA, a Jeff Beck, a Texas strat and two partscasters that I built. I sold ALL of them. I just don't like their sound.
      Also, the Gibsons are good, but you're right - you have to pick through several before you find "The One."
