I’m trying to do the exact same thing but I was gonna redo all the trim knowing I don’t have time for that this looks beautiful I will be doing this thank you so much 🫡🙏🏾🫶🏾
Looks great. I like your design eye. I sometimes I use light weight drywall spackle to fill nail holes and smooth end grain. You’re a good trim carpenter. Id let you work on my house.
Thanks for the question! I ended up leaving bathrooms & bedrooms original. But yes, downstairs I’ve done some & will do the rest in phases that make sense with my other projects. :)
Looks great!
Looks really good!! love the tip about mixing the wood filler with water and painting the end grain for a smooth paint finish.
Just found your channel and this trim project. Nice touch and simple craftsman design. I’ll be using many of your techniques on my next project.
So glad you found my channel!
You just saved me a couple thousand bucks! Not to mention time and trips to the dump.
I’m so glad I could help!

This is a fabulous video!!! Thank you!!
Thanks so much for the positive feedback! It’s makes me want to get back into the TH-cam space & make some more.
Nice. I also like the trim color...and wall color. Do you happen to remember what they were?
She said the trim color is “sculptor clay”, and the wall color is “Swiss coffee”. Both by Behr.
Did you end up doing this to other windows or doors in the house?

I can not get the miter corners to match up! Ughhh
ESP those small miter cuts that wrap around can be tough! Play around with some scraps, you’ll get the hang of it!
